So I have this dream
A reoccurring dream, where the sky is black and the sun is red, surrounded by red clouds. The sky has no stars, and every so often it flashes bright white. The sun flickers, its light wavering and momentarily condemning everything to black void before alighting again, clearly about to fail and go out forever. I usually "leave" the dream before I see the end (I just fall back asleep), but then in this one dream, the sun began to fray apart. Its strands formed a massive 4-winged serpent of light, its body slowly uncoiling from the dying star. In its mouth it held a child sun, and on its back rode a baby serpent, symbolizing how this cycle will continue eternally--the dragon will plant the sun, and generations later when it dies, its child will continue the legacy in and endless cycle of rebirth. The old sun died, its body disintegrated and fed into the new sun and the new generation, which the dragon planted, left its child to guard, and faded away, having fulfilled its duty to ensure that life will always continue.
Then I woke up with like, newfound hope in humanity and all that jazz.
