why? they are roan spots. Or at least, I see them very often in roans so i decided to add them. maybe too big and numerous though. that i can see.

It's because the spots you made look like a varnish roan, which is a type of appy, and appy equids can't breed, thus making appy quids not allowed in this comp since breeding is part of the prizes.

what if i just reduced the spots and made them smaller?(might do that now, and fix/redo the quipping) afterall, the only thing that would make him an appy is if i added white and made the spots work in a certain pattern.

Not technically.. There is such called a Varnish Roan Appaloosa. Appaloosa are not based off of how much white. An in some of the roan the spots were called.. Bird Spots...which I also believe are not allowed anymore unless Horsy designs them because Horsy does what horsy wants XD

An Yeah there are Appyquids but they are unable to breed and it was a special event.. sadly I am not sure if they will ever make more .

i know that about appaloosas...but a majority of them do have a lot of white. and i have seen the spots work in certain patterns or directions. not all, but most.

and yes, i know varnish appaloosas. this doesn't look like one at all, to be honest.(not anymore at least) it was loosely based off blue roans and mostly red roans.



this doesn't really matter though, considering he might be a bit to complicated anyway. the two don't really go together xD
