What is a Makoatl?
A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the Greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.

I wanted to try something I rarely see around but adore, rust colors!

Their design is also loosely based off of a butterfly
this mako does not have powers, i just put the rust color in the background to go with the theme nvn

Music- Julien Glabs The birth of grace

Nak is quite the gentle, inagrivatable character. Being of fragile build and of glossy exterior it is no doubtful thought when someone says he is weak. He has quite a low pain threshold, and a nativity to him, an ability to beleive what others say in one gullible, lightheaded, bite.

This nativity has tripped him up, multiple times, and he is known to move with wary steps around others, albeit wih grace.

Zoella is a rather humble Mako - like her fur which looks to be rusted with age, she acts quite mature and rightly so. Zoella seems fearless, but in fact it is just the way she hides her emotions, in an array of steel features
Like a mirror, she copies the overall behavior given, generally this only effects adults and teens, but if you are nice, she'll be nice, if you bite, she will bite back.
This Mako is a woman of her word - she doesn't give threats out unless she really could forfill them, often surprising others when she actually does what she says. She is rather daring around the peers she really trusts and never backs out on anything.
Backstory:
Zoellas memories are rather fuzzy, she does, however, remember that getting both jobs and money was rather difficult for her family, she remembers living in an old cubby they made out of old sheets they had been given - she remembers staying up often because she had a close call with a skinning knife - her and her whole family.
Not much is remembered, other then meeting someone who was rather interested in something she was playing, which was an orcarina. Making little tunes - the guy himself being a music teacher decided to take her under his wing, and she spent almost every waking moment there.
Everything goes fuzzy for her again, she remembers a metallic smell being so strong she could taste it, then finding herself within a home trying to recollect the splotches of memory that were missing, and a carer to help her recover from injuries she did not know how she got.
Habits:
Whdn not feeling well, or when she is upset, angry, stressed or worried, she will sharpen pencils. This Habit often leaves her with bandaged paws, as she gets blisters from dharpening her pencils.
She also has a habit for stealing or buying pencils - she is a pencil horder, coming in all different shapes and sizes, in a range of all the colours she can find.
job:
She has a job as an Artist, she sells her paintings at fairs, circuses, garage sales and even online.
