- Sunlight came in stripes across their faces, shining through the crooked blinds. Dispite Ryan’s high energy, Ian was almost always up first.
Ryan sat up, looking to the empty sheets behind him. He huffed and stood, trudging into the tiny kitchen, rubbing his brown eyes.
“Morning hon’bun.” Ian said with a small smile. “I making pancakes.”
Ryan sat at the tiny table, resting his hand in his palm, looking up to Ian. “I love you so much, Do I ever tell you that?”
“All the time.” Ian said, as he kissed him on the top of the head and set down the plate of pancakes.
