        i'll also be doing the pps + baby lines soon too.
        is it okay if i do them on a different oekaki?

        if i don't win, i would love to be able to make these their own species. ^u^;

A gemuar is a striped cat, and they roughly 3.2ft tall at the shoulder (withers) for the average male, and 4.9ft tall at the withers for the average female. They are much like a big cat, and are thought to be a mix between multiple species. If you were to look at their relation in build to other real big cats, you could take a look at lions, or jaguars. However, these cats are very different.

Their necks, legs, and tails are usually adorned with some sort of stripes, and this can be very minimal (from their ankles to the midpoint of their leg, or at the tip of their tail only) to maximal (as seen on the sheet above); their coats are usually naturally coloured, and so are their stripes. However, there are exceptions to this and their stripes could be unnaturally coloured. Their stripes can be a maximum of three different colours, and they must not be more than that. At least one of the colours can be unnatural, but not all three of them.
As you may have noticed, they also have gem-looking spots on their coats. These appear only as markings on the outside, but on the inside they are much like gemstones, that have grown out from the bone. These do not affect the health, stability, or posture of the cats, and are usually found around the horns, eyes, torso, and mouth. Their teeth can also be made of gems rather than bone, but this is very uncommon. Usually, these gems do not appear to glow on the outside, but as seen on the sheet above, the gems can glow and this can cause the cat to also secrete the steam made by these gems through their nose, as they breath. Rarely, they breathe out the steam from their mouth, but it is possible. However, it does not affect them in any way.

Their diet varies from cat to cat. Usually, it is a mix of meats from animals such as wild boars, birds, or small rodents. They will rarely go for animals bigger than them. They can also survive purely on plantlife, but there are specific plants poisonous to them. One of the most toxic to them is the Aquilegia Atrata, which could easily kill a fully grown male. However, small plants such as daisies, dandelions, and poppies could all be considered healthy to them, although they would need to eat them in large amounts to retain a stable diet. They can also eat gems crushed into dust, although only the odd handful are smart enough to be able to do this. Additionally, small rocks and pieces of wood are decent snacks, though they can be lethal in large amounts.

Their habitat can be anywhere, but they are generally found in areas such as Europe, Russia, and Africa. There are many in regions of Africa, mainly the south, but there are also a good few in Russia. Due to how flat Europe is, there aren't many, as they generally reside in mountains and cave systems in large groups of up to 30 gemuars. When a male reaches 3 years old, he is either able to move to another group of cats or stay, but he must join the group of gatherers (those who collect food for the others) or cubsit while the hunters are out. Usually, 2 females dual-lead the clans (groups), but if one female becomes sick or ill, one of the strongest males are able to become one of the leaders, so long as they are related to either female.

These cats can have up to ten different mates, and they can also have a life-long mate. With this chosen lifelong mate, they can produce as many litters as they would like. However, they can only have one lifelong mate, and this cannot be changed except in particular circumstances (whether it be real life or RP circumstances), such as the mate dying, or leaving the clan. There are exceptions to this, though, as some gemuars do not choose another mate, or move to the clan with the mate, or keep in touch through long-distant communications.

The litters consist of a minimum of 2 gems (cubs), and a maximum of 5. They cannot be out of the 2-5 range, otherwise it can be lethal for the mother. After a litter has been born by the mother, there is a 3 week waiting time (21 days) before the female can breed again, and a 5 day waiting time for the male to breed again, so that there isn't an overhaul of litters.

It is very easy to adopt a Gemuar; you will have to fill out a form on their adoption page, granted they are still open for forms. You may only adopt 1 gemuar every 2 weeks (14 days), to give other people the chance to adopt them. Once you win a Gemuar, you can do whatever you want with it, as long as you use it. You can use it in forums, roleplays, or as a character or companion/pet to another character.
