This contest will end February 21th. 12:00am Eastern Standard Time.

1. The word limit is 3000, this includes in art etc.
2. Unlimited amount of art.
3. No eye blinding colors please.
4. Quality over Quantity.
5. The skeleton of the form is provided, that information must be somewhere in the form.
6. Edits and Extras are allowed.
7. This boys mutations cannot be passed down to his offspring.
8. His stripes can be taken off as requested by the winner, meaning if you win, you can choose to keep the stripes or not.
9. He doesn't count towards your ownership limit, meaning if you already have 5 keakotas, you can still try for him!

Steeley is particularly fond of all shades of blue, whether they are light blue or dark blue. He also loves bright cherry reds and will often make note of the beautiful reds in whatever scene he's looking at.

Steeley absolutely loves macaroons! He absolutely loves the delicious coconut flavor and will often admire the array of colors and how they vary from cookie to cookie before he eats it.

Steeley loves bald eagles, and will often spend lots of time watching them glide effortlessly above. He enjoys watching the majestic birds fly, and he loves to imagine what it would be like to be able to soar up so high.

Ⓟⓔⓡⓢⓞⓝⓐⓛⓘⓣⓨ: Steeley is often sarcastic. He loves to joke around and rarely takes anything seriously. Steeley also has a vast array of friends and dislikes rude people, although he himself can sometimes be rude. He also loves to spend time in nature and loves to stargaze. Although other Kotas sometimes make fun of his lack of a tail, he does not ever let that get him down and takes pride in it. Steeley can sometimes be friendly, but sometimes is very snappy towards others even when they are friendly to him. This Keo also loves thunderstorms and will often sit and watch the jagged streaks of lightning tear through the sky and never show even the slightest signs of boredom. This Keo can also be extremely brave, and although it does not seem like it, is very willing to give his life to save that of someone else.

Steeley has a rather interesting backstory. He was born amidst a violent thunderstorm, one that whipped the rain in such a matter it struck with the ferocity of a knife blade. His mother was very careful when giving birth to him, and so he was foaled safely. The next morning, when she led him around the small valley, introducing him to the Keas and Keos of the herd, she noticed that he was.... different than any pup she'd seen before. He had a mane, for one thing, and he lacked a tail. He was also striped. She paid no heed to this, though, and loved her son with a furious intensity. As Steeley grew into a handsome young Keo, he never changed, except for growing in size. When his mother died, Steeley was very sad. He thought about leaving the valley he was born in because of the memories it held, both good and bad, but decided to stay in the end because of his good friends. He still lives there to this day, and has a good friend in the recently born Keo pup Arrow.

Sam is a very intelligent Keo. He may even be considered a sort of "nerd." He is somewhat social, and a bit wary of outsiders. Sam treats his pack like family, and he is very loyal and protective of them all. His overall demeanor is serious, though he does enjoy a bit of fun every now and then. One of Sam's absolute favorites things to do is run. He loves to feel the wind in his face and ruffle his mane. Though even with his handsome self, Sam easily gets flustered around the ladies.

About me|
I am Simonpet, owner of two Keakotas,
the gelding, Ponti, and the Keo, Escher.
About Tigre|
Tigre is usually skittish around other
Keakotas, though he doesn't mind being
around humans too much. He likes being
alone, often wandering out at night to
look at the stars, and wonders what the
little lights are. He hopes that someday,
a Keo or a Kea other than his parents
will accept him.
Tigre's History|
Tigre was born into a loving family. He
was named Grigio Della Tigre, Italian for
Grey Tiger. His parents always cared for
him, though they often wondered why he
had no tail and the stripes, as neither of
them had those mutations. Outside of his
family though, other Keos, Keas, and
geldings weren't so kind. They teased him
for the lack of tail and his stripes, until
Tigre tried to run away. He was unsuccessful
though, and always got returned back to the
stables. Tigre is now very nervous around
others, wondering if they are going to be
mean to him.

About: When born, his fur was black and no one in his pack thought much of it, his mother and pack raising him as any other pup. It wasn't until they began noticing it lightened along with the showing of stripes and dapples. Their concern for the rest of the pack grew increasingly a his mane grew in, showing Cinzento was very different from the rest of them. Many feared he would draw attention of predators as well as humans, but kept him in the pack until they felt he was old enough to survive on his own. At two he was chased from the pack he had been born to and went in search of a new one. While as a nomad he did draw the attention of a jaguar, in which he lost most of his tail. Despite trying to keep his wound clean it grew infected, which was when humans came upon him. Growing sicker by the day, he was an easy catch and brought to a vet in hopes of saving him. Try as they might they could not save what was left of his tail and removed it completely, saving his life. Now living amongst humans he has found friends with other kotas. Fears of his unusual coat no longer plague his new pack since humans care and protect them.
