What Is a Desert Bushel?

Desert Bushels are creatures that dwell in the universes deserts, which you may have gotten from the name of the species. You can also call them Bushels, or Bushees. They are very good at camouflaging, therefore their fur is generally natural tans and browns. However, they can have brightly colored fur in rare cases. The pattern of their fur is very unique, and detailed. Atop their foreheads is a diamond-shaped gemstone that is a bright, and glowing color. If this gemstone is tampered with, or destroyed, the creature will turn to dust, and die. It is extremely difficult for them to pass away any other way. The eyes of the Desert Bushel are bright, colorful, and seemingly glowing. If you found one in the wild, it would probably be because you spotted their eyes. Kangaroos and even Fennec Foxes are closely related to the Desert Bushel, having very similar features such as body build. When in danger, the Desert Bushel is able to quickly retreat from the situation, using its powerful hind legs. It uses its front limbs to tear apart cacti and pick flowers and leaves to eat. Very little has been discovered about the Desert Bushel, due to scientific limitations.

So What About Details?

• Desert Bushels body build resembles that of a kangaroo, but not exactly the same.
• They are generally more naturally colored, but have bright, colorful eyes.
• They can still be bright colors, however this is more rare.
• They have small, furry tails, like that of a rabbit.
• It is common for them to have horns, much like a moose buck.
• They are very furry, however can be hairless in rare cases.
• If they were to appear hairless, their skin would either be an olive skin tone, or light pink.
• The gemstone on their forehead keeps them alive.
• If it is destroyed, the creature will turn to dust, and die.
• They have powerful hind legs that help them to sprint from predators.
• Very little is known due scientific limitations, so as more is discovered, this list will be changed and added to.

What are the Rules?

• Be kind to everyone. This includes the owner, mods, artists, and adopters.
• Respect the mods and artists.
• Follow all Chicken Smoothie site and forum rules.
• Do not steal anything from this adoptable. This includes characters, ideas, and designs.
• Do not take a Desert Bushel that is not yours.
• Do not make yourself a custom. Desert Bushels are a closed species.
• You can have up to 5 Desert Bushels. This number is subject to change.
• Wait at least 2 days to adopt another Desert Bushel.
• Do not ask to be an artist/mod (I will recruit when needed).
• Do not ask for a custom.
• Do not discourage anyone from adopting.

• Anyone is allowed to adopt, as long as they are under the limit of 5 bushels.
• You are allowed to gift your Desert Bushel to another user, but run it my me first.

• If you no longer want you Desert Bushel, tell me or a mod and we can host a re-adopt.
• This is no different from any other adoptable. Please use common sense, and if you wouldn't do it elsewhere, don't do it here.

For Archivists:

This form is very small, because I'm not going to be picky about choosing an archivist. One teeny requirement is that your have archived something on CS before, however it doesn't really matter what it is. Like the other jobs, remember to be as thorough as possible when filling out your form.
