Story:

Narine slipped out of a small prickly bush, and sniffed the air. She picked up traces of hunters. Hunters are a threat to her species, so they are automatically a threat. She floofed up her tail feathers, and quietly stepped out of the bushes. She saw muddy and large footprints, and naturally she followed them. She picked up her pace, and ran toward the tracks. The tracks stopped, and she looked up. A net fell on her head, and she screeched for help. There was no reply for help. She squawked loudly and barked loudly for help, as they put set her down in the seat of a truck. Suddenly, and male pea hound flew out of a bush and gnawed at the net she was trapped in. The net snapped, and Narine clawed her way out. They both floofed up their tails, and barked at the hunter. The hunter looked scared, but he pulled out a gun. He aimed at them, and fired. A loud bang sounded throughout the forest. Luckily for Narine, he missed both of them. They were shocked and quite scared. They charged at he hunter, and he ran into his truck and drove away. Narine screeched happily, as the hunter was gone and her family was safe. The male pea hound approached her and asked " what's your name? "
"Narine " she replied.
"Narine. " he repeated.
They both walked back into the heart of the forest, back to their families.

What do his/her feathers represent?: Her feathers represent her tribe. She is proud of them, and cares for each one. Her mother painted her feathers like this when she was young, and still wears them proudly. Everyone in her tribe has unique feathers, with the same colors.
