She is still a work in progress, as you can probably tell. I'm not too sure if she is coming out very good, seeing she had a bit of hot pink/magenta and all, but I'll go ahead and tell you about her(of course, you can change anything you like, since this is your contest :3 ). While designing this girl, I figured she would not be evil, just misunderstood. She would probably be a thief, and use her knowledge in magic and fighting skills to get what she needs done. She probably would have had some traumatic experience(witness the murder of a loved one/left to abandonment) at a very young age, so she steals for money to buy food and other weapons and such. Though she doesn't have a horn, she might be very talented in the 'older' witchcraft, and has learned to use magic with spoken spells and potions.(I also though of this theory that maybe she couldn't use her wings to fly(Since her parents never taught her how, or maybe an old injury), so she has her own enchanted broomstick.) I also though maybe she would be a well-known assassin? I'm not sure, I'm just throwing in ideas. She would probably be an outlaw in every town of Equestria, and famous to criminals. Another way she would get money is by doing other criminals dirty work.
Though she looks pretty and girly, she is pretty much the opposite. She was born with pastel-purple hair, but after her first kill(an accident) she dyed it magenta so no pony would recognize her.(It frequently needs to be dyed, but she doesn't always have the time for that). deep down, she feels bad about hurting other ponies, and hopes one day to change, but would never admit it to any pony. As for her leg, she isn't an animatronic, but it was severed off in a very dangerous mission, so she tried to use a spell to heal it. After the spell backfired, it left her with a metal leg. She is still capable of walking, but it makes a creaking sound when she walks. As for the name? I don't really know. I figured she would be into weapons as well as the witchcraft stuff, so Scarlet Spear stood out a few others I liked though are these(but you can mix out the combinations): Crimson Prophecy, Cursed Spark, Prismatic Blade, Mythic Step, Stainless Arrow and a few others.
