My friends and I stood amongst the crowd of agents and soldiers, looking up at Bloodstone. The sun was beginning to set and gave the Commander a golden glow to his metal frame. The Cainids were all silent, standing straight, with their tails held between their hocks. They barely seemed to be breathing. Then, Bloodstone spoke.
"Cainids of the Royal Army, ten hut!" he barked. All the Cainids lifted their heads high and stomped their right front legs.
"Sir! Yes, sir!" they all yelled in unison. It was deafening.
"Tomorrow, the Army of Darkness will fall once again! We will fight for what is ours, and we will win!" Bloodstone yelled, his voice carrying across the canyon. "We will reclaim this land for mankind and all beasts of Terra! We fight in the name of our ancestors!"
"For our ancestors!" the army cried in response. I covered my ears against the sound.
"For the King!" Bloodstone yelled, his voice rising.
"For the King!" the army yelled.
"For Alphan!" Bloodstone yelled, his voice sounding like it was being broadcasted on a P.A system. That was turned to full.
"For Alphan!" the soldiers all yelled. Then, Bloodstone threw his head back and howled. It was extremely loud and carried far and wide.
The soldiers and agents all began to howl. Their voices deafened me, even though my ears were covered. It was a wild sound that sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but smirk to myself. Felix and his army wouldn't know what hit them.
Piece from a story I'm writing called "2012: Rise of the Fear". This takes place near the end, just before the big battle between the C.R.A(Cainis Royal Army), and the Army of Darkness. Bloodstone is getting his soldiers and agents riled up so that they are ready to fight. The person telling the story is an eighteen year old girl named Sarah.
2012: Rise of the Fear and all characters and concepts belong to me.
