i get what you mean. i've only told two of my friends and i feel that if i keep telling them, they'll think i'm just doing it for depression.
and i completely understand not wanting to get your parents involved in this crazy mess. i accidentally let my mom know and she sent me to two therapists in the same week, and it only made it worse.
here's an idea - if your parents ever leave you home alone, call your friend. tell them whats going on. or just tell your friend during school by writing a note. if you need to, stay after school one day and tell your friend you want to talk to them after school. tell them whats going on. i know telling your friend seems like a long shot, but another one of my friends has depression. she was the first friend i ever told that i have depression. we often tell each other whats going on in our lives.
i promise. just tell your friend. it'll get it off your chest and you'll most likely never have to worry about it again. just don't keep the secrets and feelings bottled up inside. that's the worst thing you could ever do.
