I got Pokemon ORAS about 2-3 weeks ago and have fallen in love with the game ahh. ;;v;;

I then ended up deciding to soft reset for a shiny Mudkip on my other copy of the game, and successfully obtained it last week! <3 The little guy popped up after 1018 SRs. o:

Usually I don't draw humans, but have been trying to coax myself to and am doing some chibis for now, as well as practicing putting lots of color on the piece. nvn

Also, congrats! May I ask, did you obtain it by SRing when you first see the 3 pokemon, or when throwing it out to battle poochyena? Also, does it show you the shiny when choosing the pokemon?

To answer your questions; you never see the shiny form of the Pokemon from the 3 starters in Pokemon ORAS, those will always be normal. You can only see if it's shiny if you throw it out in the Poochyena battle. In short, I found the shiny when I threw it out in battle even though the Mudkip preview was normal. c:
