What are Pangaeneers?

Pangaeneers are prehistoric deer like animals that existed 300 million years ago. They lived in mountains scattered all over the supercontinent called Pangaea. When Pangaea began to split, they took refuge in the mountains and to this day are scattered few and far between around the world. As they are an old species, they are slowly dying out. Today, humans are trying to keep them extant by opening up Pangaeneer Sanctuaries. In these sanctuaries, the breeders are striving to keep them true to their original genes by breeding them into natural coat colorings. Pangaeneer's coats can be any natural color pertaining to the ungulate order.
Just a heads up, I will be choosing four artists!

- You may use the male or female lines. NO baby lines! Check the appropriate shading when you do.
- Edits are allowed! (Read below to see what is allowed!)
- Please make a cover for your entries. If you don't, I may miss your entries and/or not even consider you for an artist position.
- You may make up to five entries. Please make a minimum of two.
- Do not remove the "fake" sign.
- You may keep the design if you do not win, but it can't be on Pangaeneer lines. You cannot keep the Pangaeneer.
Some things to know;
- Pangaeneers can ONLY be bred into existence with natural colors! PLEASE no bright colorful rainbow colors. Markings can be unrealistic, but it is rare. Most Pangaeneers have colorings related to ungulates (horses, cattle, pigs, giraffes, camels, deer, hippopotamuses, whales and dolphins.)
- Hair and horns can be added as an edit. Don't go overboard though. Keep it realistic. Prehistoric features are a plus!
