lemme explain
so basically what if one of the early freelancers(we cant really tell how many there were, just that there werent any new ones after tex and wash) was agent nevada, a freelancer who specialized in extreme physical strength and possibly psychological warfare(thats the term right)
he was involved with project freelancer before our current freelancers, which is important
im pretty sure he was kinda a jerk, and not in the funny church kinda way, more like the washington but worse kinda way
so one mission everything messes up and he gets a huge and horrible head injury
now heres where things get varied
one possibility is that of course he suffered the effects which made him the caboose we know him as now, and they sent him to a random red vs blue canyon which happened to be where they relocated church
OR the other is that, provided that his armor absorbed most of the damage as has been shown with lots of different life threatening situations, he survived the injury with little to no consequence
with his knowledge of psychology and whatnot, he fools everyone into believing he has suffered intensive brain damage(he probably bribes the doctors too) and he gets shipped to rvb, maintaining his act of being caboose
of course its important to factor in the evident consequences of having multiple ai at once, or even a single problematic ai, so its possible hes been at least partially affected
i prefer the latter because it provides extra tension about the character, especially because of some stuff with the next few seasons ive been theorizing
