Korviis are a species of crow magically created by a witch called Corvinna Corax. Their main purpose was to help her collecting and sorting ingredients and recipes for potions and spells. With the natural intelligence of crows enhanced by Corvinna's spells, these crows have easily mastered speech and writing, and can be a really helpful companion to an apprentice wizard.

Brief personality: Ripple is the " lone wolf " of most korviis. He mainly is by himself, and in the shadows. When he does bond with someone or something, it is a strong bond. He he loyal to a bond, and brave. He can stick up for himself, and maybe a few " friends ".
Why does he like flying near water? Ripple enjoys flying over the water, because it makes him calm and it seems light an effortless flight. He feels like he gains strength from the water, and how it flows calmly. He has a connection with it, and cannot explain why he feels this way. He says it " takes away worry, " and " Stops any pain."
