Copper Shell Breaker Dragon- (CSBD). A dragon species that existed during the age of the dinosaurs. These beasts were predators of the skies and were vastly know for their unique jaws and spiral tail spike. They were 18 Meters are full age, and a whooping 5 Meters from hatching. When Hatched these beasts dont have wings but much like the T-Rex stub arms which makes some scientist believe most T-Rex fossils could be mistaken for CSBD's baby boners. Once they enter teen stage, which is a year or two after hatch, their wings are started to show and now have normal length three clawed arms, because their wings have finally grown, they are able to glide and with enough practice will be able to fly. Once adults, 5 years after hatching, they are now full fledged flyers and will only be seen on ground when nesting, eating, or breeding season. Now as Adult these beast have much stronger limbs and are able to break the shells of Ankylosaurs witht heir strong jaws, however in some scenarios with the armored dinosaurs having spikes they'll grab the dino by the tail or head and drop it from the sky and feast on the mess, like opening a coconut, cracking it and eating the innards. The older the CSBD gets the more oxidized look it gets, like a penny in water, it slowly turns to a teal green in age. When broke the tail spike can take YEARS to grow back to its original structure, same for the horns. CSBD's do not breath fire like todays dragons, but instead breath a very mildly annoy hot smoke.
Size: 18-20 Meters
WingSpan: 30-40 Meters
Diet: Meat, Anklyosaurs mostly.
Breeding: Breeding Season usually starts in Spring and lasts til the end of Spring, Eggs are usually laid in Fall in a nest of warm ash created by the males. Females seemingly tint silver during this time, while Male tint gold. CSBD's do not breed for life. Male impress females but breathing their smoke/ash and most males eat ores, like gold, silver, tin etc to gain colored flakes in their smoke, these colors attract females.
-Matng Fencing- - During breeding season Male fence with the spiral tail spikes, they do this by hovering in flight and swing their tail at one another, they not only do this they bash heads, and clack chest spike against one another, the male that submits loses, the victor gets the female. Fencing usually creates a loud CLACKING/CRACKING noise that can be heard from miles. Sometime a male has to submit because their tail spike broke, tail spike take years to grow back, this could result in that male losing YEARS of breeding season.
