There's a story behind this, though unintentionally.

So after a few years, all the other animatronics are shut down and taken away, but Tori remains. She's grown friendly with one of the guards, and he was staying on permanently. After a while though, Tori began to go insane for short periods of time. During one of these bursts, she charged down the hall and killed him. When she regained consciousness she was appalled at what she'd done, and afraid of herself, so she locked herself in the P&S room.
