welcome to the discussion thread for my rp 'young volcanoes'

it was supposed to be a chance. a chance to get away, a chance
to enjoy the fresh air. or maybe it was a chance to further your
career, a chance to get that position at work you so desperately
wanted. for whatever reason, you boarded flight 1221, unaware
of what the future had in store. halfway through the flight, the
sky outside your window turned black, lightning flashing through
the air. the pilot brushed it off, stating that it was simply a small
storm, and would soon pass. but then the lights went out, and
oxygen masks deployed. the plane was quite literally falling out of
the sky. the impact was jarring to say the least, cold water filling
the space around you. not everyone made it out alive, but you did.
a total of twelve survivors from the plane crash are left, and have
washed ashore on a small island in the north atlantic. now, the
castaways must band together in a fight for survival, or die trying.
because god knows what happens if you don't..

ＯＮＥ ; No anime characters as your refrence pictures. They are real humans, so you must use the appropriate pictures. If you use a picture of, say, an actress or a singer, then you must add a face-claim underneath. This'll be easier for me to find gifs, so I strongly suggest you use somebody who won't be too difficult to find gifs for.

ＴＷＯ ; You are only allowed the maxim of two characters. There are no exceptions to this rule, for anybody. I strongly suggest you make a male and a female for balence, however if you RP better with males/better with females then I don't really mind. Nonbinary characters are more than fine too, however you need to have an understanding of how nonbinary genders and their pronouns work.

Dex is very sarcastic, but has a very quick mind, being
intelligent and clever if somewhat impractical. His
intelligence is obvious from when they first crash -
he never panicked or 'freaked out', just started
trying to find out how to fix things. One of his
major flaws is having attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder, which leads to his
fidgeting gestures and frequent flailing,
especially when he gets worried or
stressed. He stutters slightly when he
speaks, and tends to make hands
gestures as he does so too. He has
a very very close relationship with
his father, which developed
mostly after his mother's death at
age eight. Ever since he's suffered from
panic attacks. They aren't usually too
severe, but death is a huge trigger.
He's generally a nice kid, and is
super accepting of everyone
and anyone, no matter what.

✯personality: trooper lives up to her name, she is one hell of a trooper. in the aspect as she does her job very well and continues to. trooper has a very high ranked leadership job not only in school though through out aswell. trooper is very intelligent and resourceful, not to mention the one time she got out of handcuffs using an elastic rubber band. she isn't necessarily bad, though she is very mischievous. trooper lives up to the phrase, curiosity killed the cat, she hasn't been too curious though, she is at times a bit nosy. not only is the red head breathtakingly gorgeous she has is a bit funny. trooper is a bit of a flirt too, not the mention sometimes even annoying when talking. she is very hard-core that, she inquired from not having a daddy to teach her things.
✯history: trooper's father an army man, wanted a son, as the story goes he was stuck on the name trooper for a boy, when he died shortly before the baby was born, her mother decided to name her after the name he wanted. several years later trooper became very rock solid not knowing her father and when her mother remarried to dwayne, things did turn sunny side up. troop as some called her became a little b and backtalked liked crazy. trooper finally got fed up with her new 'father' and mother she ran away. with extra training from years previous, following in her father's footsteps, it was no problem running away from home. trooper has stayed an only child aswell, which has worked to her advantage.
