Heat Fox Color in - I have done a previous one, but I hadn't had pen pressure so my tablet was useless. I have left it up just in case, but I would like to be judged on this one.

The gene I chose was crystals (I somehow managed to think of a scientific explanation):

Crystals can be formed under lots of situations, but this gene causes the ability of not only the blood crystallizing at low temperatures but also the cooling fluid which is expelled through the vents; meaning some of the gas, when meeting the cold air, can crystallize, and sometimes stick to the fur around the vents. This can cause a build up around the vents.

Luckily, the added danger of both the blood and the cooling fluid able to crystallize in the Heat Foxes body, and the possibility of the vents being blocked up by a large build up of crystals, is tempered by the gene also causing a very large increase in body temperature in comparison with the Heat Foxes with normal genes. The hotter temperature makes sure that by the time any fluid is able to crystallize, it would be out of the body, and the heat of the cooling fluid (or rather gas) stops the crystal around the vents getting too strong as they need colder surroundings.

"Yes, of course, Hera. What are you thankful for?"
"Memoria." "Memoria?"

" I WILL SOAR, THEN,
BEYOND THIS POWER OF MY NATURE,

.
AND RISE BY DEGREES
TO HIM WHO MADE ME.

(saint augustine's confessions)
I enter the fields and spacious halls of memory, where are
stored the countless images that have been brought into them
from all manner of things by the senses. There, in the memory,
is stored what we cogitate, either by enlarging or reducing our
perceptions, or by altering one way or another those things
which the senses have made contact with; and everything else
that has been entrusted to it and stored up in it, and which
oblivion has not yet swallowed up and buried. "
