When Tori rebooted, she was in a dark place. Turning her flashlight on, she saw she was in a heap in the backstage room. She could tell it was nighttime, for the door was cracked open a smidge yet no light was shining in. Turning off her flashlight, she nudged the door open with her nose. Faint noises were coming from the kitchen, none of the others were to be seen, and one of the cameras was on, slowly moving back and forth and beeping quietly.
She stepped lightly out into the shadows, and looked to the right for the calendar. It was the tenth of November. Tori noticed the noises from the kitchen had stopped and the kitchen door was creaking slowly back and forth as if someone had left in a hurry.
Taking another step, she heard a growl from her right and looked over just in time to see a silver gold shape sailing through the air. Ellanore collided with Tori with a crash, and swept her claws across Tori's right shoulder, pushing her back. The surprise of the attack and the ferocity made Tori yelp as she felt something grip her back leg and rip a piece of the suit away. Stumbling into the open, she saw Ellanore and Lithium advancing on her with claws out and hackles raised, growling.
Tori tripped over an overturned chair and Ellanore lunged forward to rip part of her left forepaw off. Claws from behind raked across her flanks as Diesel joined the attack too. She spun to the left and Lithium's attack caught her in her shoulder and side, tearing through the suit. Once again retreating backwards, tail lashing and ears flattened, Diesel leaped forward and ripped open her chest as Lithium came up from behind again and ripped half of her tail off.
Tori turned to the left and leaped over one of the tables, landing with a clatter and taking off for the kitchen, knowing it was the only room with a working lock. Diesel spun and leaped after her and brought her crashing to the ground. Tori twisted around to attack just as Diesel snapped at her face, and his jaws tore off the entire left part of her face including most of the endoskeleton.
Hissing in fear and anger, Tori sent Diesel flying with a kick from her hind legs and she scrambled to her paws. Diesel was to her left, Ellanore to the right, and Lithium right in front of her. All of them approached her, snarling, and Tori was still retreating backwards, toward the backstage room once more.
Lithium made a move as if to attack and Ellanore lunged again, and Tori twisted and bolted, kicking the door shut behind her and leaning against it to keep the others out. A cacophony of growls, snarls, and hisses followed her, and she was greatly relieved when they left.
Standing up and trembling, Tori slid a metal pipe through the door handle and the hand hold on the wall, twisting ends pack in on itself. Having finished the improvised lock, Tori took a step back, and crouched, shaking with her ears flattened, wondering why her friends had suddenly tried to destroy her. It didn't have to do with the stabbing incident, did it?
Laying down under the camera, Tori closed her eye, sighed, and murmured "I never meant to hurt anyone...I just wanted to save them..."

Diesel was lounging behind the curtains in Pirate Cove, when he saw someone's father drop a newspaper and it landed beside the curtain. His interest peaking, his eyepatch clicked up and he blinked at the paper, before leaning forward and snagging it with his hook. Setting his flashlight to dim, he scanned the headlines and flipped the pages, before coming to a sudden halt at one concerning the pizzeria.
Interested, he began to read the article.
NEW EVIDENCE FOUND
Animatronic Shut Down Under False Charges?
After further investigation at the local pizzeria Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, fresh evidence was discovered concerning a recent incident. In the light of recent revelations, many people seem more confused than before.
A month ago, a mascot at the pizzeria was shut down due to the belief that the character had stabbed and killed five young children. Recently however, beliefs have changed. A week ago, a janitor at the pizzeria was fetching a band-aid for a child who had cut open his finger. While getting the medical supplies, she noted that some cloth, bandages, antiseptic wipe, gauze, and cotton-balls were missing from the medical store. Inquiring about this, other janitors reported they had not used any.
The next day on request of the janitor, police searched the kitchen again, and found near the wall a small stack of the medical supplies reported missing. Some were bloodied, along with a small trail of blood to and from the spot the children were stabbed. Bloody paw prints were found on the floor leading to the janitorial closet, but it was only the bottom of the pads and not the claws or toes.
Engineers have also confirmed the animatronics were indeed programmed with the three laws of robotics, and could not harm a human, and would do anything in it's power to stop a human from coming to harm. The only possible solution now is that the mascot was patrolling after hours, discovered the children, and tried to save them, but was shut down before it could.
Some people are calling for the character to be returned to use, but engineers could not get close enough to reactivate programming, and some of their reports say the character has somehow become mangled and torn up. Rumors are flying about what happened and why.
At the scene, police also discovered an antler hilted dagger with dried blood on the blade. They have been running fingerprint scans and background checks to find own who owns the blade, and who used it.
Diesel looked up from the article with wide eyes. Why hadn't they asked her? Tori wouldn't have lied to them. But no, they had jumped to conclusions and tried to destroy her, and now she would likely never talk to them again. "Ooooooh snap," he whispered, dreading that night.

Tori glanced at the now mangled camera and pulled the pipe out of it's place on the door, letting the door creak open somewhat. She hadn't come out for a week after the attack, and had learned how to never be seen. As she turned right and slipped along the wall, she paused as Diesel hurried passed on four legs, looking worried. "Guys?" he called, dropping the paper he had been carrying. "We may have a-" he stopped abruptly as he spotted the open door and his eye patch snapped up. "No, no, definitely have a problem," he croaked, flattening his diamond shaped ears.
Glancing at the paper by his paws, Tori saw the big bold headline reading "NEW EVIDENCE DISCOVERED", and knew what it would be about. They would regret what they'd done now.
-
Ellanore felt horrible. She was utterly appalled by what they'd done, made infinitely worse because they had leaped to conclusions. Tori had never lied, though it was true there were some times that she had taken a bit of persuading to tell.
It was partially true that they had been programmed with the three laws, for the second law was cancelled out by their nearly human intelligence, and the third law cancelled out because they were made of an indestructible material, except for their suits. The first law only applied to children, not adults or other robots.
Tori had always taken insults and injury personally, for she had once been crushed underneath one of the doors and very nearly broken. Since then she had had a vendetta against that security guard, and she didn't do her signature slip-into-the-room-kill-you-when-you-turn-around-or-about-to-finish-your-shift nearly as often. She would definitely see this as an insult and injury, as well as a betrayal and would take it ten times worse.
-
As soon as Lithium read the part about the medicine, she knew it was true. Tori had always been far more tolerant of children. There had been several incidents where a child or two got locked in overnight by accident, and Tori would always stay nearby and protect them, even going so far as to strike at Diesel on several occasions, even though she had a crush on him.
Lithium had been blinded by anger and fear, and had instantly assumed bad things. She believed only what had come out in the newspaper that day, "Animatronic at local pizzeria found at murder scene. The mascot has been shut down for safety precautions."
Lithium was Tori's sister, and knew her nearly inside out and she knew that Tori would not take to this kindly.
If Tori ever spoke to them again it would be when she killed them.
