What are Fennec Kitsunes?
Fennec Kitsunes are reclusive, fox-like creatures. They got their name from their similarity in appearance to the fennec fox. They are carnivores, living mainly on a diet of red meat. However, when desperate, they will also eat fish. Unlike the fennec fox, they are large, and can grow to the size of a draft horse. Fennec Kitsunes are adaptable - they live in many regions of the world, but they thrive in forests. One thing noticeable about Fennec Kitsunes is that every one has a unique coat. Their coat can be of any colour, often with exotic markings and patterns. Neon coloured FK generally have brighter personalities, whereas those with a dull coat and few markings tend to be introverted and sour at times. There are, however, exceptions to this rule.
Young kitsunes are not pampered and looked after like many canine pups - instead, they are trained so that they can survive in the harsh world and are completely independent by the time they are 15 weeks old.
Fennec Kitsunes are completely feral. Those who manage to get caught and are put into captivity either escape within a few hours or starve themselves to death.
Their large ears are used to keep themselves cool and pick up even the quietest of noises.

PygmyFKs with the Pygmy syndrome never physically become fully grown. For most, they appear to be an adolescent, however, in more extreme cases, they will stay as a kit.
Tri-tailFKs with the Tri-Tail, as the name suggests, are born with 3 tails. It is said that Tri-tails are dull in colour, sensitive, spiritually in tune to the world around them and are often blind.
Quad-tailNobody really knows much about these, except that they have 4 tails and are the things of legends.
'Fox' mutationSome FKs are born with one tail. These are often nicknamed foxes - however, they are still very different from ordinary canines. They are more likely to be sociopathic.
No tailAs the name suggests, some FKs are born simply without a tail. These are extremely rare, and often shunned by their parents. They are always psychopathic (they feel no empathy) and keep to the shadows. They are killed on sight by most FKs, or simply feared. As stereotypical as it is, they are merciless, constantly seeking revenge and reaking havoc wherever they go, all without ever being seen.
