i've had the idea for geminids for a while now, and if people are interested i'd like to make them an adoptable species!

geminids are lion-esque creatures, but they are slimmer and about the size of a wolf. they are always born in pairs (very rarely, triplets occur) and those pairs spend their whole lives together. they can only be separated if two friends each adopt one. the pairs always have a unique theme that can be either opposites of complements of each other (like these two that are night and day). geminids can also breed, and the offspring would be a combination of the parents' themes. for example, the day parent could mate with a water-themed geminid, and create rainy day offspring (if that makes sense). geminid comes from the latin word for twin, gemena.

this is just a very rough example pair, i'll make real lineart and more complicated designs. if geminids take off, themes will be better and more creative, like disney or fandom based. artists could make whatever they want :>

please tell me in the comments if you'd be interested in adopting, becoming an artist, or just seeing this species around cs! i'd love to see them get off the ground.
