Whenever two go to breed, the male will steal a lantern - perhaps even two - from a human, and give it to the female. Some might even steal mutliple lamps, resulting in She will then drop this gift, and they will most likely get one child, maybe two. They always start as a baby when they hatch from a lantern, and then they grow. Sometimes the male will steal a different lantern light's lamp, causing a very muddled Lantern Light to appear that will be sickly and frail. Lantern Lights born from a stolen lamp often die, and if they don't, they will be attached to whatever Lantern Light the lamp was stolen from.
