Altair sniffed, his dual tipped tail swished like a snake about to pounce as he watched the small creature slowly. It was a tiny bit bigger then a rabbit, with a strange pale grey coat and a rat like tail. what in the world could this be? he snorted and pawed at the creature, letting out a cry somewhere between a scream and a bark. The creature stopped moving and flopped to one side, legs splayed dramatically out to the side and a repugnant order aroused from the lifeless looking creature. Stunned Altair took a step towards it, was it dead? Just as he was about to bump it with his muzzle, it lept up and spat in his face a snarl. Hissing it tried to rake its claws across the tender nose flesh, but the Horgon tossed his bearded head and watched the creature sprint back to the cover of the bushes.
