Story:
A young Strike whinnied loudly, shaking his stubby baby mane. His friends neighed back to him, and his closest friend nicknamed Hawk stepped forward to accept the challenge.
"Over on the left we have the reigning champion, the fierce, the brave, Lightning Strike!" Narrated one of the other foals, as they pretended this was a sport battle. "And over on the right we have the noble, the swift, Screeching Hawk!"
The other foals cheered, rearing up and encouraging their friends who were having a play fight. Strike and Hawk charged towards each other, kicking with their tiny hooves. They could barely hurt each other, and this was all fun and games. Strike bit down on the other foal's short horn, just as Hawk lifted his head. Their was a faint snapping noise, and Strike yelped in slight paint as his shattered baby fang landed in the grass. It didn't hurt too badly, but children always make a bigger deal of things. He ran to his momma, who consoled him and assured him that no, he wouldn't die. The fang never grew back, but Strike thinks that having one fang is kind of cool. It makes him seem tough, and its an excellent conversation starter.
