Story:
Sometimes in life, you come across places that are special, peaceful and unique. These places could have a significant meaning or history that, maybe, only you or lots of other know about. But in this case, it was a legend. A legend that was told by many over hundreds of years, but never believed. The story was about a young Horgon, who was said to have lived along the coast of the island Ingemar.
It was a harsh year for the people of Ingemar. The weather has hot; the rivers were almost in full drought. They were suffering, and it wasn't long before their water supply would leave completely. This water supply was precious to them, and it was decided that it was o be fenced off to stop wild animals from using it. But alas, even the largest of barrios couldn't stop one particular creature. This mysterious animal used to eat the leaves of wet plants to keep itself highdrated, but of course in the dry weather; there was nothing. Their kind would never venture close to the humans because it was too dangerous, but if you were in such demand, what else could you do? Now this creature, known in the books as a Horgon, didn't care the least about the humans survival, and flew over the fencing to access the river. There was just enough water left for her own survival, and that would mean none left for the people. This Horgan had never experienced true water, only the moistness of the insides of plants. The water supplies were based around the village. She dipped her head down to take a drink, and as soon as her long tongue touched the muddy water, a jolt of blue light went through her. Her eyes lit up and were blue for a split second. She jumped up, afraid. Then she reared, and a huge wave of water came crashing down the empty river bank when she did. The Horgan was confused, what had she done? In the next few days, the humans celebrated. The young Horgon had a great responsibility now, she had to stay and be there if the drought ever came upon the land again. She was given the name 'Orabelle', which means 'Beautiful Coast' for she roams the cliffs and beaches of Ingemar; waiting. Waiting for when she is needed, again.
