DawnTear, the great painter of the morning light, is supposedly a sister of her's. NightWhisper, the elusive bringer of nightfall, is said to be the elder sister of Painting. Other ponies are also thought to be her sisters as well. A pony messenger brings down her design, as well as her sisters', to be bred with. None of this is proven. (But, it's true!)
