Raiun means thundercloud.
I choose this name because of her markings and her tomboy personality.

Tomboy: Raiun is a tomboy. She is always showing off, and being loud and boisterous. Despite her Japanese cloud markings, she loves to get dirty, and mess around with colts and stallions. Most of the males considered a buddy, and most girls are jealous due to Raiun always being near them.
Calm: When she is alone however, she is calm and will spend her time thinking and watching the other guardians. Even though this side of her is rare, its her more respected side because when Raiun is calm, she's scarier and will never et angry and can stop even the biggest stud will back down from her.

Behind The Name:
The marking on her face sort of reminds me of Celtic symbols, and whenever I think "Celtic" I think of the Lochness Monster. Thus, Nessie.

Personality:
Nessie is generally a very sweet and very gentle mare. At least, around friends and loved ones. With strangers she tends to be very cautious and hostile if they try anything too quickly. Occasionally she can be a little snappy and rude, but those are typically on her off days. She doesn't have them that often, but don't be surprised if you end up arguing with her on good days! She can be very stubborn and will get into an argument with those who bash her opinions. No, she won't be mean in her arguments and put others down. In fact, she usually feels bad after arguing with friends and is sure to apologize ASAP! Overall she's a fiery, spirited young mare with a heart of gold. Befriending her gives you a friend for life.

History:
While Nessie has had to struggle to stay alive, said struggles were well worth it! The young mare can now swim with little to no big issues, and has grown to be quite strong. Now that she's healthy enough to swim on her own and take relatively good care of herself, her future is looking to be quite bright.

So why is her name Nessie?
I figured this would strike some of you as odd, so let me tell you how she got her name. This little spitfire loves to mess with others. I mean she's quite the prankster. She loves to be elusive and pop up at the most inconvenient times. The best times you ask? Are when humans are trying to take pictures of her beautiful water home. Yes, you've guess it- she's the mythical "Loch Ness Monster". No person has found out it was really just a GOS photobombing them or trying to freak them out, and honestly, she finds the whole legend they've made up to be hilarious.
