Personality: Captain is quite the gentle giant, although, hence his name, he does sometimes like to take charge. He is a sucker for polos and can be a little too enthusiastic if treats are offered. Captain is very loyal and more than happy to work, especially as pulling carriages poses very little challenge to him.
History: An accidental birth on a stud farm, Captain was quite the surprise to the family who owned the farm.
They knew they couldn't afford to keep him and promptly found him a new home, with an owner who could pick him up right away. Their youngest daughter, however, had taken a liking to him and insisted that he shouldn't go right away, so they decided to keep him just for the night.
The next morning, however, the colt was nowhere to be seen. A storm was beginning and with every raindrop their worry for the foal grew. They searched for hours, until they heard that a foal had been spotted, in the lake near to the farm. They got there as quickly as they could, just in time to see their colt being rescued from the river by four men on a boat. They quickly recovered him and returned him to the family, who made sure he was safe, warm and dry. Sadly, he was to leave them later that day, but in escaping the field and going for a 'swim', he earned his name.

Virtues:
¤Good at pulling heavy loads
¤Can maintain a good speed for long distances.
¤Calm for vet/farrier etc.
Vices:
¤Can be difficult to keep under control at times.
¤Escapes most pastures easily.
¤Can be demanding at times.

Line edits: Roman nose, 'fluffy' chin, feathering, custom mane and tail.
Time spent: Okay, so the timer is one great dirty liar. I re-made his design about four times, so for just the final design + edits + tack, I probably spent anywhere up to five hours.
