The day of Shirley is an interesting one, for the young adult, she wakes up every morning and tends to enjoy a lavish breakfast, one made up of two egg, Sunny side up, accompanied by two strips of extra crisped bacon. When asking Shirley what an Dream career would be that last think anyone would expect anyone to answer with is being a waitress. Shirley here takes her job with pride and wouldn't give it up for the world, though working at a 50's dinner, Shirley seems to be at home here, running around and chatting with people and travelers coming through. Though Shirley is quiet the one for gossip and loves to talk to the older women that come in almost every Wednesday for lunch to catch up with each other. Shirley is very much a people person and will talk off anyone ear if they get her started. Shirley can be fond at the 50's dinner for the breakfast and lunch rush helping out and serving customers. While she is working Shirley tends to have a habit of chewing bubble gum and snapping it when jotting down orders or bringing up bills, its a habit that she isn't aware of half the time and people that know her well enough know you can't get her to stop. She will even accept bubble gum as tips, her favorite chewing gum flavor it watermelon though. Now one thing that stands out about her is her New Jersey accent, which makes her hard to understand at times and sometimes she tends to slier words.
Her favorite movie of all time is Back to the Future. She loves the first one for its a boy that goes back to the 50's to when his parents where teens in high school. Maybe this movie is one reason why she loves working at the 50's dinner so much! When you ask other Kia's what Shirley is well know for, the first answer you would get is making milkshakes. This girly can make many milkshakes and sometimes will come up with brand new idea's on different unique flavors. She is most famous for making a Pb&J milkshake, though other places have made something like this she uses a raspberry jam and with and small peanut chunks to add a but of a crunch to her silky milkshakes. Her last one she had created was a carmel mocha milkshake, a great one to accompany breakfast for those kia's with a sweet tooth. She is also great at making malts and sometimes a frap (Though fraps give her a little more trouble at times ). Yet back at the Dinner she is always working her magic and keeping the jukebox feed and giving quarters to little ones that want to pick a song. Shirley often thinks it would be rather cool to roller blade around the dinner, but her and her manager knows that she is a but to clumsy for that, though she isn't tripping all the time she still has her moments of stumbling over her own front paws.
At the end of every day, Shirley goes home and keeps herself busy till bed time. She will either watch a movie or worry about dinner, though she loves to have a pot roast going while she is at the dinner, letting it slowly cook through out the day so when she is home its ready and waiting for her. Its a life saver for a girl thats been on her feet all day and needs to rest when getting home. She will also make a roast sandwich for the next day too, that ways she kills two birds with one stone. She loves to take advantage of things that will make her live easy and can serve multiple purposes so she isn't in need of doing it again later. It frees up more time for her to do other things that she would enjoy more then having to cook again or clean. Over all Shirley is a fun girl that seems to still be a little immature of her age and enjoys her life, but make her nervous enough and she will be a clumsy nervous reck. The only down sides to Shirley is that she tends to go into panic attacks and will hyperventilate till she passes out unless someone can calm her down. She is also a girl that can't sit down and talk about serious things for to long, such as breakups or something like politics.
