random species idea I had.

They're these canine-like creatures with lizardy tails and really big noses. At the bottom of their necks/above the shoulders, they have an aura of sorts that emits from it. The aura flows down their backs, resembling a cape. It also is an indicator of life; the shorter the cape, the closer to death the creature is.

They can be any color and have any kind of marking, the only thing that all of these species must have is a spot marking on the back of their ears.

I was gonna color this but I drew the lines on the BG layer soooo
