Scorch's Story Scorch grew up in the hot desert with his mother Rain, his father Flame, his grandfather Hakuro, his older brother Blain, and his little sister Lola. He loved to listen to his grandfather's stories when his mother and father went for a hunt. He watched his mother and father head off past the sandy dunes and he looked at his grandfather. Scorch, Blain, and Lola huddled around Hakuro. "Tell us a story" Begged Scorch. Blain stayed quiet. Lola looked up at Hakuro with her pleading eyes "Please?" Hakuro smiled. "Alright." Scorch and Lola smiled. Blain rolled his eyes. "Our four fathers use to live in a green lush land with food all around. A cool stream parted the land. The land was ruled by the lions. One day, our species got in a fight with the lions and we were sent to live here, in the land of sand. But the legend tells of one of us who will lead us back to the land of green and make peace with the lions." Blain snarled. "Stop weaving tall tails! Your going to give Lola nightmares!" "Blain, there isn't anything wrong with stories, this story is real" Scorch said. Blain laughed "Ya right, you keep listening to those kid stories." Blain said and padded to his den. Scorch looked at his gandfather with hurting eyes. "It is real, believe me." Said Hakuro. "Then who is it going to be? Who will lead us to the promise land?" Asked Scorch. "The one who has the will to" He grandfather said wisley. Scroch smiled. "It's gonna be me. Tell mom and dad I am going to find the land of green". "Take me with you!" Lola said happily. "I'll go, I wanna see you give up" Blain smiled. "Lets go!" Scorch said and ran off, his siblings followed. "The legend is true!" Hakuro howled.

Months pasted, Scorch kept looking. One day Scorch was walking and he stepped on something soft. He looked down. "A plant!" Lola said happily. "It can't be...." Blain said. Scorch smiled. "We're almost there!!!" They ran for a mile and came to a stop. infront of them stood a green land, just as their grandfather told. Scorch holwed happily. A large male lion greeted him. "It's true...." Scorch cocked his head confused. "You... you.. are the... legend.... just as it was told...." Scorch smiled. "I have come to make peace" The lion bowed his head. "Tell me, how did you get here?" Scorch stood up proudley. "All you needed was the will"

Lions were sent out and they got Scorch's family. To this day, Scorch's species is low in numbers, so the lions guard a hidden temple where they will live forever in peace.
