Username: Inupait
Pup Number: 7
Pup Name: Outcry
Gender: Female
Personality: Cry is a Natural born leader, being born a dominant pup she was always trying to boss her siblings around and rough house with them. she was very personable and easy to get along with however she didn't like when others tested her authority and did not hesitate to put others in line. she became an amazing lead dog with a team that she loved dearly and looked out for every single one of them. she was the kind of gal who would throw her life down before she would ever let anyone touch her team. BUt then the accident happened (you'll learn about it a little later). Cry was heartbroken from loosing her team, grief stricken and feeling like a coward she turned into a much different dog. Now Cry is very reserved and doesn't speak unless it is to give orders. She has a very short temper and has been described as a ticking time bomb that could go off at any second from the slightest of disturbances. She is now very aggressive and distant from her new team and rules it with an iron spiked fist. She is a very clever and experienced lead dog that no mater the roughness the road or the how deep the snow(metaphorically) she never quits and will drag anyone with her to the end. she acts fearless and will face any challenges or dangers without flinching. but deep down she is hurting, she blame herself for the loss of her team and doesn't want to get close to anyone else in case they too are lost.
Theme Song: Never to Late ~ Three Days Grace
History: she was chosen from the litter and purchased by a sled dog team owner who refers to his sled as NiteFlite, he makes deliveries and does trading up in the yukon. He knew that Outcry had the makings of a great lead dog and went to work training her instantly. she was raised with a handful of other pups that she took quite a liking to and build intensely strong bonds with. they later would become her team. together the team made several seasons running the trails, every danger they faced they conquered together. Cry fell in love with her swing Marrik and they became nearly inseparable. however one night when they were deep in the yukon mountains an avalanche took the lives of all of her team except herself. cry was heartbroken at the loss of her beloved team and became very bitter with herself. she realized that those she love were her weakness. so from that moment forth she decided that she would never let herself get attached to anyone but her master. her new team would never replace those she had lost but Cry keeps them in line and continues to lead them through thick and thin.

Story: Night had fallen quickly as it always did up here, the bitter wind sank its gnarled icy claws into Outcry's wary muscles. she dug her way deeper into the thick snow cover to get out of the freezing cold. Her team was already resting around her. their eyes closed and muzzles tucked under their tails. But she couldn't sleep, there was a dark energy to this night almost as if tension crackled on the very wind that rustled her pelt. she got to her feet and padded over to were Marrik lay curled in the snow. she settled next to him, her back pressed against his offering her the comfort that she had needed. her eyes were just starting to close when a loud crackling sound made her start. she glanced at the sky warily. was that thunder she had heard? no it couldn't be, there were no storm clouds, and it was the wrong season. She settled down to sleep once more deciding that she had nearly imagined the sound.
Moments later a new sound made her open her eyes, the laboured breathing of another animal as it kept through the deep snow. she lifted her head and watched a young caribou scramble past the sleeping dogs without even glancing at them. Suddenly Cry knew what was happening. "GET UP!" she yelped and bounced to her feet. "Hurry get up!!" the team scrambled to their feet and looked to her. "Avalanche! Run!" she ordered and took flight. her team was hot on her heals as the sprinted though the chest deep snow, it clung to their legs and slowed their progress. "Keep going" she panted. a thundering behind her filled her ears as thousands of founds of rolling, tumbling, turning snow crashed through the trees stretching out its deadly hands in an attempt to catch the team. "Follow me!" she cried out over the deafening roar. bearing suddenly to the right. if i can't out run it at least i can lead them out of its path! she thought hopefully picking up the pace once more.
The snow beneath her paws suddenly heaved and she was sent rolling nose over tail down the side of the mountain. Snow filled her eyes and mouth as she cried out. Her tumbling body lurched to a halt in front of a pine tree that stretched out its branches to catch her. She had been thrown clear of the Avalanche unharmed. Warily Outcry found her paws and looked around, next to her a barren white scar cut through the forest were snow had cleared a path. "Marrik, Bengy, Kangee?" she called and listened for her pack. "Fannel?! Fran?! Tucker?!" she called louder, her barks echoed off of the trees around her but received no response. she ran out onto the crusty surface of the snow left behind by the white wave sniffing at the ground. "Marrik!" she cried, her howl hummed with growing desperation. she caught a sift of his sent on the snow and there she found a piece of ice spattered with scarlet droplets. her she began to dig. after a few feat her paws struck fur and she tugged at it with her teeth. Her beloved mate's head came free of the suffocating snow. his eyes were closed peacefully and his whiskers lay flat to his muzzle. "Marrik" she smiled licking his face. but her tung found blood. behind his ear was a trauma wound that was certainly fatal.
she collapsed next to his lifeless body eyes stinging as tears left tracks on her white cheeks. "They are all gone!"she muttered bitterly to herself "And its all my fault!" she snapped, her teeth clicking together painfully. "I have failed them, all of them!" her rage at her own stupidity bid her to stand. her ears were layer back and her white teeth exposed in an angry snarl. "What a fool i am" she had let them die, how could she ever forgive herself. she had done everything she could, But it wasn't enough. Cry found the strength to calm herself. she sat down in the snow next to Marrik's frozen resting place, tipped her nose up to the cold smile of the moon and let out a song of morning. her heart weeped for her friends but they could not hear her. her song changed as it progressed, turning from morning to acceptance and then to anger. this was her fault, if she hadn't let herself become weak this would not have hurt her. she would not allow it to happen again. that she could promos.
