Username: Scoinwolf
Pup Number: 6
Pup Name: Colt
Gender: male
Personality: More of the "bad boy" type of guy on the outside, he has a rather sarcastic sense of humor and loves pranks but appears laid back and relaxed. There's always a glint in his eyes that lets others know when he is mocking or teasing them. The kid can be quite charming at times but should never be trusted fully, unless one happens to be one of Colt's few friends, in which case one could trust him with their life. Though, don’t actually do that, just in case. Once one gets to know him a bit better they will find that he’s sorta jumpy, like he has a constant, yet small, feeling of guilt that he’s covering up a little too well. This cover up makes him cocky and overconfident at times, since whatever secret it is he’s hiding hasn’t been found out, and if he can cover that up so well for so long then anything else seems quite easy in return.
Theme Song: Getting Away with Murder by Papa Roach
History: Ever the rebel, Colt would cause trouble no matter where it was he'd go. It wasn't always apparent that
he was the source of this mischief, but occasionally he would slip up and be caught. It was never anything seriously bad, it was just pranks more often than not.
Eventually he started hanging out with the wrong crowd and they led him to do things he hadn't even thought of doing before. Take smoking for example, but that was in part due to his mother. While his so called friends encouraged him to try it, he really only agreed because his mom seemed to think it was alright. She smoked, so why couldn't he?
Smoking was normally the first step, but his "friends" had trouble convincing him to go further. Colt would bend or twist rules. He'd find loopholes every now and then, create them if he had to, but never actually broke any of them. Well, there was this one time that was seriously bad, but it was technically an accident and so doesn't need to be mentioned. Ever

Story: The sirens flashed and Colt bolted, running for the nearest side street. He raced down the pavement, heartbeat loud in his ears as his vision blurred slightly from the uneven path he was charging so desperately down. Skidding around the corner, he caught the edge of the fire escape ladder there and started to climb. Going up the winding metal stairs at a reckless pace, it occurred to him that the so called “safety route” was quite unstable. It didn’t matter to him at the moment though and he continued up. Reaching the roof of the building, Colt looked around and backed up to give himself some distance. He leaped to the next rooftop, narrowly making the jump, and his back paws didn’t quite connect. He would have slipped and fell off if his quick reflexes hadn’t kicked in. As it was, Colt fell face forward with a thud. He was up again quickly and off to the next roof in no time, trying to put as much distance between himself and the red and blue light show several blocks behind. Hearing the sound of helicopters coming up, Colt abandoned the previous route and made his way back down to the streets. Dodging and hiding from searchlights took time and care that he couldn’t spare for long and so Colt was driven to the sewers. Unfortunately this path was pitch black at night and after stumbling along blindly for several minutes he had enough and needed to get out of there. Waiting for the police to move past, Colt slipped away into the maze like city streets and shadows. Heart still going wild, he couldn’t calm down as he made his way to the docks. Jumping up onto the wooden structure he was blinded by a sudden light. The voice on the megaphone would have been comical if he were in a different situation. If he was in any other situation. Heart pounding, Colt couldn’t do anything but stand there as he was boxed in. The officer was approaching, tone getting threatening now, and started to accuse him of -Colt gasped, waking up sweating from the nightmare. He groaned and placed his paws over his eyes as he rolled onto his other side. His heartbeat was still high from the dream and he was restless, itching to move but terrified of getting out of bed.
Eventually his pulse slowed and he calmed down. It was just a dream, the police had never caught him, nor would they. The confident grin was back on his face. He was too good. There wasn't anything that could be linked back to him.
Reaching for the ever present cigarette now, Colt lit one and inhaled, breathing out slowly as he watched the smoke climb to the ceiling. Smoking indoors probably wasn't the best of ideas. He didn't care.
Sitting up in the bed, he double checked the cloth wrapped around his legs to make sure it was still tight with no signs of coming undone. Satisfied, Colt blew out more smoke and stretched before making his way down to the kitchen to snag some food.
Listening to his parents talking, Colt answered any questions directed at him in a monotone voice. He was clearly distracted and so was left alone for the most part.
Finishing his food quickly, Colt left home to go find so of his friends. Admittedly he wasn't overly fond of the group he hung out with, but he didn't exactly dislike them either. He met two of them at a street corner and gave a nod in greeting. One ignored him and the other smiled slightly in recognition. The trio waited for about an hour and a half more for the two others to show up. Colt kicked at some pebbles as the time slipped by but it seemed like they weren't going to show after a while. Sighing, the friend who had ignored him previously turned to Colt now. "Wanna ditch them?" He suggested to the other two. Both shrugged in response, they didn't care either way.
The one who had spoke turned and flicked his tail, signaling for the other two to follow as he walked away. They did so, not knowing the destination, not interested enough to ask. They ended up near the bridge outside of town and while the leading one stayed at the side of the bridge Colt and the other made their way down to the riverbank. They skipped stones, er attempted to skip stones, until the one up top came down to join them. At that point the trio wandered in boredom, kicking the occasional stick or pebble into the fast moving water to watch it sink or be carried downstream. Eventually they gave up trying to entertain themselves at the river once it grew dark out and ended up making their ways home.
Colt slipped into the den, hoping to go unnoticed with his many other siblings also back by now, but his wish fell short when his father came over to question him. Was he alright? He hadn't gotten hurt again, right? Colt shook his head and assured Wren that everything was fine. He knew his father worried about him being gone for such long periods of time ever since one of his siblings lost part of their tail. He appreciated the care but sometimes it bothered him when all he wanted was
not to be noticed. Laughing and giving a quick joke, Colt escaped his father's attention only to bump into his mother. Rosalie looked annoyed but left it alone. He had seen a few times where her temper had snapped, never on himself or siblings, and was glad she had realized it was an accident.
Finding his bed and laying down on the cloth, Colt closed his eyes. His day hadn't been memorable, in fact it was rather common. Unlike that time when... Colt yawned and fell to sleep in no time at all.
