Kay was once disgraced as an "unnatural child" due her
sensitivity to the sun that kept and still does keep her
indoors. So, she lived in seclusion with her rather
wealthy mother and her family steward for the
longest time, just biding time within the towering walls
of the estate's castle. At one point the mother, seeing
that her daughter was missing something, taught her a
skill which had been passed down through the matriarchy
of her family for generations: how to fashion wicker dolls.
The woman made the first one, and, as much as she
loved the dolls she made later, that very first little dolly
quickly became Kay's most prized possession. And it only
became more sacred to the nine-year-old after the tragic
and traumatizing death of her mother. Despite the
objections from her peers, among others, the petite
albino lady carries her little friend everywhere she goes.

What is His/Her Favorite Toy:

An albino rat plushie called Ratty. Her parents gave it to her when she was 4 months old, and she'd always snuggle up to it at night, or when she was just having a nap. When she went outside to play, she would strap it to her back with a scarf, and frequently she would dress her up. She never left Rattie behind, and if she ever thought she lost her, she wouldn't stop searching and/or crying for her. Once, she lost her for 3 days, and she was so devastated she wouldn't stop looking for her, and could barely sleep. Rattie is like a best friend to her - as good of one a plush can be; they 'ate' together, and she talked to her as if she was alive.
