Theme #1: Death -CLOSED-

Postby Neah » Thu Jul 24, 2014 6:38 am

Here's the first theme; Death. It was suggested by ki-neko animura.

It's a reaper, which means it collects souls when they pass through to the world of the dead. It has unknown matter trailing from it's hind paws and eyes and has a cross necklace.
To adopt it how about a story abut how he/she died.

Story (500 words max.): People often say that death can happen at any moment in life. When your at your happiest or when your at your lowest. Delano's life seemed to stop when he was at a mid-way, he was happy helping people and not getting anything in return. Just for the simple fact of helping someone else and seeing their smile and something change in their life. The smile that came from others when he said something or helped them made himself smile even though he didn't get anything from it, but a thank you if nothing at all. Yes, sometimes he would get other stuff, but he mostly rejected it. He wanted to do it because he just wanted to. So, the fact he died for someone who didn't have nothing to live for, he got what he wanted the most in life. He got someone to live for something. All he ever wanted, was for someone to find something to live for everyday into their last breath. Even though he died for it to happen.

((Hope I'm not to late)

Wolf Name: Moarte
Gender: Male
Story (500 words max.):

Moarte, meaning death, wasn't always known by that name. He was once named something great, something he felt was worthy of being legendary. Somehow he had forgotten that glorified name after re-naming himself. After the incident, of course, one of which he forbids to speak of. It's not a story where he's not the hero, nor the villain, but merely a bystander. He was a gravewatcher for his clan, he guarded the many bodies of the fallen before their burial. He was given the unoriginal nickname of 'The Reaper'.

Moarte witnessed the many betrayals and distraught between his brethren. As a mere guard, he was always told his job was to simply protect what he was told to protect, in which case was, well, dead bodies. So he had tried his best to never intervene in other's conflict. Moarte couldn't help it, he didn't want to see the body count rise. Even the ancient gods didn't expect a lowly gravewatcher to step out of line. One night, Moarte paced the gravesite as per usual before catching sight of another peasant walking past the gravesite silently. He disregarded this passerby until he noticed another shadowy figure following her. He trailed their footsteps quietly. He noted the shady dog tried to harm the passerby so he jumped in, getting the victimized dog out of harm's way. Moarte was horrifically wounded, dying within moments as the passerby had enough time to get away.

The fates took a liking to 'The Reaper', he had so long guarded the dead that even after his death, it was his sole purpose. To not only protect the dead but also the living, so he was given a second chance, an afterlife. He once more guarded the lost and would now be able to protect the living just as well. Moarte walked the grounds as a protective spirit, his eyes steaming with the bloodlust of the recently deceased and his hind paws trailing patches of protection around gravesites. It was meant to protect good souls from those of a more corrupted background. Moarte lived for eons in this form, and he held his position with pride.

[Too bland or cheesy? Yeah maybe, sorry about that. I hope it's at least okay..]
