what are denkyu?
denkyu are quiet, generally quite gentle creatures, who carry large glass jars on their backsides like tails. these tails are attached to their lower spine, and contain a large quantity of a unique item. these items can be food, liquids, household objects, organic materials, even living creatures. denkyu live in a tranquil yet colorful city in the forest, and are semi-nomadic in the sense that families of denkyu will often leave the city to travel by foot or wagon for a few months of the year. during their travels, they will often distribute the items they keep in their tails to hikers or gypsies in need. they are considered very good luck when spotted in the wilderness.
can two denkyu have the same item?
yup! but they will generally have very different designs or styles. for example, if there are two denkyu with vanilla cupcakes in their bulbs, one may have a very girly theme, while the other may be styled to look more athletic. this is to keep possibilities limitless, while still maintaining unique designs.
can we breed our denkyu?
you may not design your couple's offspring, but should you want them to have children, just let me know. there's no official form or anything, but if you PM with the details, we will work something out. denkyu offspring will have a combination of their parents' items in their bulbs, which can be problematic, as many will end up with useless or weird items. that's why arranged marriages are so popular in their community.
how do I get one?
every month, I will have two themes, each containing four denkyu. if you see one you like, offer a trade for another closed species, cute design, artwork, aywas items, etc. these denkyu will be designed for me, so not all will be traded away.
