My last design as a Pseudodragon guest artist. I wish I could do more! Designing these guys is fun.
This one is based off of a Common Kingfisher, and it will be an art contest.

You may do 3 pieces, and they can be traditional/digital/sculpted/whatever pleases you.
I would also like you to tell me what accessories you would give them - bonus points if they are bird-related!

Name:Ceyx
Ceyx - or in Greek Keyx - means kingfisher, and was the name of the king of Thessaly. I find this name rather fitting for this little guy not only due to the fact that he is based off of a kingfisher, but that he accessorises himself with gold and high end, almost royal accessories. Additionally, he would be my little king. Royalty in my eyes and deserving of the very best.

Accessories:Ceyx has always been fascinated in birds. From each individual call, to the feathers that free them from the Earth, the little guy has adored his aves friends. For this reason, and the additional wish to be free, soaring through the wind, he embellishes himself with a few high end accessories he's stolen from his owner's jewelry box.
The first is a gold necklace with feather pendant at the end, in addition, this dragon occasionally wears a draping tail jewelry with a full wing charm at the end, it is gold with a few diamonds, an additional matching piece to necklace. Ceyx also owns a talon ring that he wears almost everyday, symbolizing his connection with birds and his strength and willpower.
Though, not all items he owns are metal, in fact, Ceyx has quite a collection of bird bones and feathers he's collected over the past years, and is planning on crafting himself a headdress of all the large feathers that are full of color, and similar to his coat - which are quite a few! This pseudodragon keeps his array of feathers, bones, and more in an old burrow left by rabbits in the backyard of the home in which he lives, where none of the grubby humans can find them.

• A couple chords of leather wrapped around his left wrist as a bracelet.
• A strip of leather also hangs around his neck, a tiny fluffy feather connected by metal hangs in the center, and star beads are on each side. This one isn't a favorite of his, but he wears it on occasion as well. <3
• Somehow he snuck into my jewelry box, and adorned his tail with several copper rings.

----also on the note of an extension: I would love and try to put as much care and effort into my form as I can, but I will be leaving home on the 3rd of July for about 2.5 weeks, returning on the 19th. Internet access will be limited and I would adore an extension, but I understand if not since that is a very long time.

Ziva wears a braided ivy necklace with two feathers attached to it. She also has a wooden bracelet that has ivy stings and a feather attached to it as well.
She got the feather from the kingfhisher that took care of her as a baby.
She rescued her from a bad situation and brought her to her nest, where it was a baby kingfisher as well.
She grew up with those two and when it was time to leave the nest she got three feather from the kingfhisher she now called mother. Ziva wanted to be sure not to loose them so she tied them to her necklace and bracelet. Now she will always have a somethign with her from the bird that saved her life.

The ivy and wood refer to the forest and the feathers refer to birds.
