Soul Cats are a curious species of feline status. Their eyes emit a mysterious glow known as souls. They have soft, silky fur that they groom constantly. Soul Cats have no toes, resulting in round pads that cover the bottom of their feet. Their tail tips have a strange mitten shape, where the smaller tip is underneath the larger one. Though rarely, there will be a Soul Cat with a short tail. All Soul Cats as of now have large, pointy ears that stand stiffly upright.

Recently discovered to be living in the forests of the Appalachian mountains of eastern America, these cats have been studied and deemed safe to own as pets. Their diet consists of fish and small rodents.



Around the size of a large house cat, they can grow as big as a German Shepard.

A Soul Cat's 'soul' is a strange thing that works in mysterious ways. A source of light, the thing appears to be useless, except for using it to hover to the place it wishes to go. It starts out very dim as a newborn, and gradually gets brighter and brighter. Soul Cats can fully control their soul, but most of the time it goes with the wind.

Soul Cats with short tails are rare. It will happen from time to time.

Soul Cats cannot seem to touch the ground. Always hovering, a powerful force prevents them from reaching it.

Communication within Soul Cats include meows, growls, purrs, yowls, shrieks, snarls, and soft hums from their souls that are the main form of talking within Soul Cats. They can also meow at each other, but it creates a fair lot of confusion when it's just meowing.

When communicating with humans, they use telepathy to project a mental image puzzle to show what they're trying to say. And, since SCs are fast learners, you can teach them a language with just a pencil, a paper, and patience.
