What's a Hazard Cat?

Hazard cats are felines that have been partially mixed with robotics. They have tails made of metal that are severed in the middle, but connected with some form of energy. A glass screen rests on their chests. This screen shows the cat's health with heartbeats or a glowing circle, but there are many other options besides these. The color always matches the cat's eyes. Some cats' screens are full of static. Beware, these are dangerous as they are rare. A small grate can be seen on both sides of the cats' bodies. They breathe through these grates, so it's impossible for it not to be there. What comes out of the grate differs from cat to cat. The most common is steam, uncommon is sound, which is accompanied by mist, and the hardest to find have goo seeping out between the bars. They have three eyes, but the one in the center of their forehead is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. It is said that this third eye allows them to paralyze their targets. The pupils are most commonly hollow in the center, but can be regular or slit. Large ears and eyes allow them to see clearly in all levels of light, even in pitch blackness. Their hearing is very advanced and they can hear sounds even higher than dogs can. Their legs are very long, like those of maned wolves, bringing them up to speeds of fifty miles per hour.

Aisu is a calm hazard, she loves
to care for hazards and rather enjoys seeing them
happy. She appreceates when others love on her
instead of hate on her. She tends
to stay quiet and modest and let others
talk before her, staying light and loving
instead of anoyying. Every stranger
to her is a friend, and she knows
everyone, while everyone knows
her. But when she's alone she is
feisty and loud, without anyone
around she will go slap happy
and laugh to herself.
But after a days end she always
feels alone, misunderstood.
No one really payed attention to
her and never let her talk or
express herself. Thats why
only when she's alone she
expresses her true self.
Because if she does it to her friends
no one will like her, they will
think it's strange, and not her.
But in reality it is her, just whats
burryed inside. A free creature
of unkown abilitys.
Favorite place -
Glow worm caves and the galapagos.
Aisu always had such a creative mind, much
more creative than any other hazard met
face to face with her. And when she
visits these places her mind opens up
and it touches her heart and soul.
Using her creativity she designs
abstract fantasy areas that
simply astound others.
Aisu can take hours on one peice
but it can be so astonashing and
touching to hazards. She can
find insparation about anywhere
but when walking the edges of these areas it
makes her feel alive, wild, free and
creative off the charts. Every
day she see's the sights but none
have come close to the awe and
beauty of these magnificent peices
of pure breathtaking nature.

Personality: Icy and chilly on the outside, but on the inside she is sensitive and easily impressionable. She loves to make music from the stalactites that litter her cave. Tundrap clinks some of the more loose ice formations like wind chimes, often coming up with a solid beat to go with all her raps. She thinks that everyone should be in the winter realm, and would gladly invite fellow hazard cats into her lair for some sick lyrics to throw down.


Favorite place: On top of the highest ice mountain to see the northern lights. She loves seeing all the ways the colors can mesh and flow, just like her music.

Violence, as he says, is not the way to get what you want - you only get what you want if you work hard for it. Friendship is one way to help others - and who said that snow leopards were incapable of being helpful? Most of the other snow leopards he knows say, “It’s simply not done. Snow leopards do what snow leopards have been doing from the very first day.” Freeze, though, protested it as a stereotype - because it was. Freeze had been angered that no one thought like he did. That no one was kind, helpful, nonviolent...someone who wants to help instead of attack. To this very day, he remains the same, as he always will be.
Favorite place: In a tree, gazing at the nighttime sky. It is the most beautiful place on earth to be at night.

Growing up, Freeze had to learn how to survive a few things: Enemies, predators, and bullies. The bullies were the worst problem. Freeze spent every day hiding from them to stop them from hurting him. The bullies heard of his family dying and they were always after him to “put him were he belongs,” meaning, the wanted to kill him. His family had been higher than these bullies - higher in rank. The bullies of course, grew jealous of Freeze and his little sister, but they had nothing to do with their death.
One day, the bullies found him, and the leader of the bullies challenged him. Freeze accepted hesitantly, but he won. The bullies never bothered him after that.
Freeze moved to another place alone, doing what he thought was best, and till this day, he lives with his new best friend, *Coldin.

*Coldin is a name of a town that I used for this made-up character.

Short Story

Freeze dipped his head down and gazed at the water. Jumping as a drop of water hit the water, he gazed up. Icicles... he thought. Looking back at his reflection, he tilted his head. Then he turned away and started walking. Flashbacks flew into his head yet again - two years and not even once had there been a day that he had not missed his family. Starting to shake from the memories, he walked back to his den. Crawling under the tree, he lay, trying to push the memories out. Looking at his friend, Coldin, he said, “It’s happening...again.” Taking deep breaths with fear, he placed his head down and let the tears flow. “I miss my family.”
“I know, Freeze. I miss my family too,” Coldin said. The same thing had happened to Coldin - his family was dead.
“It hurts.”
“I know, Freeze. I know how you feel.”
Freeze turned away and lay down. “You’re the only family I got. You know that, right?”
“Of course I do; it’s the same for me,” Coldin answered. Coldin walked over to Freeze and curled up next to him.
“You’re my best friend Coldin,” Freeze said, feeling better.
“And you, mine,” Coldin replied.
“Did it hurt, when you lost your family?” Freeze asked the older Hazard Cat.
“Yes. It still stings occasionally, but it stopped hurting after awhile. Some of the pain will go away if you allow yourself to be happy. Some of the pain will go away if you make friends - new family. Some of the pain will go away, Freeze, but only if you allow yourself to understand that they are still with you, in here. And they still love you.” Coldin pressed his paw to Freeze’s chest.
Processing what Coldin had said he nodded. “I understand. Family is forever, even if you lose them. They watch after you. And family isn’t just who you are related to by blood, it’s also who you trust and who cares for you and it’s also your friends. They are family too.”
“Right you are,” Coldin said quietly. “Right you are.”

she is a snow leopard at heart and is not afraid to show it, with long claws hidden in those soft paws, she is definitely well-equipped for a fight.
she loves snow and everything about it, the softness, the coldness and with her fluffy grey fur and long bushy tail, she is great at hiding in it.
She loves having snowball fights with any stray Hazards passing through her home in the mountains and can always bring the out the best in everyone, even when they don't show it.
Favorite place:Her favourite place is at the peak of any mountain, as a kitten this was were she was raised and she loves playing with any other hazard cats in the mountain tops, throwing snowballs and playing hide and seek.

As a Spark (I think thats what hazard kittens are called), Kisa was lost up in the mountains when she was playing with another spark , they were both found later but both were lying still and lifeless. She was left lying limp and cold, her parents first thought she was dead, but when she did wake up, her paws had lost all feeling and she could not walk. She was lucky to even be alive, she discovered this when she found out the other spark had died. The other Hazards worked together to find Components to fix her with, finaly, her legs were attached with glowing orbs. At first, she was wobbly and unsteady on her legs, but managed to walk for the first time in ages. Soon she got the hang of walking and became part of the Hazard Society one more.
