The Wolves of the Sky
Cumulawolves are a species of wolves that have only recently been sighted, though scientists say they have been around since the Ice Ages or possibly even longer.
Facts About Them;
- -Cumulawolves are named for the cloud that forms on their back.
-Said cloud is a physical part of their body. Anyone who attempts to remove their cloud get a painful jolt of static electricity.
-These wolves bring rain where ever they go
-They are the first to notice signs of an impending storm
-While highly intelligent, all Cumulawolves are completely mute. The only 'sound' they can make is thunderclaps when threatened.
-Contrary to popular belief, Cumulawolves do not fly or live in the sky unless they have wings.
-They are the largest known species of wolf, averaging 9-10 feet in length and over 300 hundred pounds
-They do not require food, only water, but can eat if they want to.
-Their eyes are nearly always the same color as their cloud, different coloured eyes are extremely rare
Bah. I may/may not make these into adoptables. The idea is that humans domesticated them to get hurricane and tornado warnings, and to use them in times of drought, but over time they became pets.
