Unlike many adoptables, this species isn't a "quick adopt, get a whole bunch" kind. Each one is unique and special. Each has its own story, history, and future. You, as a potential owner, will not only adopt it, but actually own it.

Keep in mind--Tribesman and women wear armor or leather garments, not casual clothes like hoodies or jeans.
They also do not have very modern-like objects, like glasses, hats, etc.

If you want this Bernikesaur, a Tamed form is the way to go.

It was early morning, I'd just spent my night in a tree and for once it wasn't one of the worst sleeps I had ever had. I pulled my things together and tied them in my leather sack -my grandmother tanned this leather for weeks and it still smelt like her.
My feet hit the ground as the suns light hits everything around me. It was bright out already, the near by water shined brightly momentarily blinding me. In the time it took me to shut my eyes and try to squint out the sun, I heard her closing in. I kept my eyes shut, my ears were good enough, she was coming from where I wanted her too. For days I had tracked this white beast. I heard the snare traps catch her feet she roared in rage and confusion. I opened my eyes. Got 'cha. Her body hit the ground as her feet got stuck behind her, I rushed her loosing the rope from around my body I tied it around her mouth, keeping her muzzled and ran to tie her down further. She was mine. I went back to her face as she growled and attempted to bite me, stressing the rope. I patted her "hush, girl. You're in good hands now." I set my bag down pulling out a small rodent, I left it uncooked for her, I held it in front of her nose. "We can be friends."

Name: Dhavalyin (Dhaval = Sanskrit for "Dazzling white", Yin = Chinese for Silver, Sound or Shade depending on character)

Gender: Male

Personality: Years of fighting and scavenging for food has left Dhavalyin skittish and withdrawn. While usual trademarks of shy, don't let that fool you, he's more than happy to make new friends, and loyal to those that prove themselves worth his time. Especially if they bring him food.

Rider: Sheut'Kriit Zephirum(Sheut = Ancient Egyptian "Shadow" - part of the soul, Kriit = part of the name of the god of night for my original race - Kriitit (seen as weakest deity in Ayenian culture, linked to healing), Zephirum = Zero)

Gender: Male

Age: 22 years (June 13th birthday)

Appearance: Sheut'Kriit (Sheut for short) is just over six feet tall, with a lean, well built form. Dark brown hair that borders on black frames his face, hidden under his hood. His darker blue eyes are set in a pale face. Leather armour over dark cotton clothes gives him moderate protection without adding unnecessary heat and weight, though is usually hidden under his heavy hooded cloak that protects his sensitive skin from the sun.

Personality: He tends to be a bit pessimistic and withdrawn, but once you get past his negativity, he's not that bad. A bit bitter due to his recent discovery that his skin absolutely hates the sun, and jealous of other riders, but tries not to let it show. Tends to prefer being alone or with one or two people, instead of in a crowd or city. If he can tame a Berkinesaur, it is very likely that his sour mood will dissolve into a more bearable demeanor, though the chosen Berkinesaur will likely receive most of his good mood.

Short story about your rider first seeing this Bernikesaur:

Evening was the best time for Sheut’Kriit. Most creatures’ days began when the sun rose, but his day began when it set.

As a Mat’huen, he’d spent most of his life underground. Now that his time had come to find his own Berkinesaur, he had to venture above, only to find his skin sorely sensitive to the sun’s rays. He had been burned enough to learn he needed to cover himself in a heavy hooded cloak to ward off the worst of the rays. Though, his abhorrence of the sun was a detriment to finding any Berkinesaur to his liking. So many loved the sun, they were hidden away in roosts by the time his beloved night came. And he learned the hard way, Berkinesaurs were not fond of being woken up so soon.

He grumbled as he pulled the hood over his dark hair, shielding his eyes from the last rays. “Too late, I’m sure they’re all turning in by now.” He sighed, walking beside a mountain in hopes of finding one just coming in.

Much the opposite, to his surprise. A white muzzle peeked out of a dark cave, snorting at the rays and yawning. What followed was a gorgeous ivory Berkinesaur, thin, but otherwise in great shape, considering his colour deficiency.

Sheut’Kriit’s eyes widened. This was it, he finally found a Berkinesaur that he could work with. They shared the same enemy, that burning sun that set their sensitive skin on fire.

The dinosaur shook his head to banish the last bit of exhaustion from a day’s rest, before blue eyes lit on the dark clad figure. It weaved its head slightly, trying to get a better feel for the other being, before the lips curled back in a tentative, wary snarl.

Sheut lifted his hands. “It’s okay…” One hand slipped to his supply bag, searching. Oh if only he had something more than bread and jerky on him! He’d been chasing Berkinesaurs for so long that many of his bribing treats had decayed, unfit for consumption. Now all he could pull out was a fistful of dried meat and a small loaf of bread. He crumbled the bread and tossed it and the meat towards the dinosaur. “I’m sure you’re hungry.”

It flinched at first, but the scent was too good to pass up. It took a few hesitant steps forward, snuffling the food before licking the small offering up in its great tongue.

“Hard for you to hunt, isn’t it? I think I can help with that, if you’ll let me.” He said softly, watching the Berkinesaur sniff around for any crumbs it missed, kneeling to pull out the last of his food to offer to the Berkinesaur.
