that's right! the peekers community now has all the great features of a fully functional nursery. this is where couplings and breedings will be dealt with and sorted, as well as a great place to learn more about all the things you and your peeker can do. there's a lot of interesting stuff to read about the processes and rules, so go over everything carefully before submitting things like forms and questions.

it's easy to get confused when it comes to breeding, so everything you need in terms of processes and forms are going to be kept here where you can access them at a flick of the wrist for your convenience.

this gets a little more tricky. in order to ensure that both parties are consenting, I need to receive two letters from the owner of each parent. then, I need two receive the same form from both of you through a pm to know you both agree on the relationship story and the selected artist.

how are the babies being divided? {method 1, 2, or 3}

what about same sex couples?
peekers do have gender, but their gender is irrelevant to breeding, and therefore, same sex or genderqueer couples can breed.

how many babies will I get?
if breeding with two peekers that you own, the number of babies will vary from 1-3 and is randomly decided by a die. if you are breeding with someone else's peeker, the number of babies received is always two.

who gets which babies?
you and your partner can decide this three ways

method 1 involves the artist deciding beforehand who will get which. the artist must be unbiased and make sure that the designs are of equal quality.

method 2 is in which it is first come first serve. the first parent to claim their baby gets it, and the remaining is given to the second.

method 3 is in which the partners will discuss it amongst themselves once the babies are released, and come to a consensus on which ones they want.

can I give my babies away?
no. the pups you get are yours and your partner's. you must keep them between you two. if you are breeding on your own and wish to give a baby to a friend, you can contact me and i'll give you the verdict.

can I breed my peeker more than once?
yes, but peekers mate for life. and therefore you must breed with the same partner.

what about studding?
this is permissible, but should you want to stud your peeker, please contact me first!

these don't look like peekers!
that's because as pups, peekers' long necks are still just developing, and they do so under a nice warm cuff of feathers. once they reach adolescence, their furry collars shed away and their big necks will spring up from their shoulders.

awesome! if this is the case, contact the artist who did the breeding with the filled out form. we need to make sure, however, that you appreciated the time you had with your pup and that they are developed enough to become an adolescent. this means there will be other requirements.

requirements for growth:
✱you must have your peeker pup for a minimum of two months
✱the peeker must be active during this time
✱the peeker can only grow on the same day of the month that they were created

✱guest artists cannot be breeding artists
✱your peeker cannot breed with more than one peeker {unless studding}
✱do not alter your offspring's appearance, accessories are an exception
✱do not grow your peeker pup on your own
✱try not to squabble or fight over offspring, if a quarrel emerges, a mod will be there to settle it
