Fanart for my favorite artist, Corgay (Solvig, now) on deviantart. This is her jolteon, Thoreau. The whole black eye thing was a reference to one of my favorite pieces by her, here.

Her style really inspired and helped me, and even though she has quit drawing, I still frequently gaze at her gallery with a dazed and dreamy expression, wishing she'd come back and draw some more. Oh well, everyone has to quit sometime, I suppose... I foolishly hope I won't have too anytime soon, but college is creeping up on my shoulder pretty soon. I doubt I can become a professional artist. Have you ever noticed how most famous artists make the most money on their pieces AFTER they die? I want to be able to afford a house, so I don't think being an artist is the right profession for me. I'm not even taking art classess... My schedule is filled to the brim already.
