THE LOST RIDERS - #72

Postby AirAngel » Fri Apr 18, 2014 12:06 am

Unlike many adoptables, this species isn't a "quick adopt, get a whole bunch" kind. Each one is unique and special. Each has its own story, history, and future. You, as a potential owner, will not only adopt it, but actually own it.

Keep in mind--Tribesman and women wear armor or leather garments, not casual clothes like hoodies or jeans.
They also do not have very modern-like objects, like glasses, hats, etc

Oh, jeez! This one looks like it's somewhat patterned after a hummingbird!

Is this the one for you? Are you up for its capture?

Short story about your rider first seeing this dino:
Aelita rushed through the woods, carrying a backpack of supplies quickly home. Her mother had her running around, flitting from place to place like little hummingbird. Home for chores, hunting for supplies, collecting food, then home again. Flit, flit, flit. Hurry, hurry, hurry. Always busy. Always in a rush. It would be wonderful to have some help, a dinosaur to help get around, but she was too busy to find and train a dino in order to help her. Oh, the irony.
Most people her age would be finding their own Bernikesaur by now, that is, if they didn't already have one. Several people would even complete over a particular one. Little Miss Busy, however, didn't have time to compete, not that she'd want too. She would fight for a worthy cause without hesitation, but not for a dinosaur she wasn't even sure would want to hers.
With her head in the clouds, she failed to see the rock in front of her. Head over heels, she tumbled down the hill, making more noise in a few yards than she had made in the past mile. She slid to the bottom, landing on her stomach, covered in brown dust. She allowed a frustrated groan escape her before lifting her head out of the dirt and fallen leaves. Immediately, her eyes met a second pair, staring curiously back at her.
It was a dinosaur, green skin muddled with a calm yellow that faded into a white chest and black legs. Yellow spikes formed a ridge along it's back, starting at it's black nose and ending at the white tip of it's black tail.
Neither one moved for a while. They were frozen, captivated by the surprise of each others' stunned gaze. As Aelita stared at the creature, she couldn't help but notice how it resembled a hummingbird. A smile slowly creped across her face. It was nice to know she wasn't the only hummingbird. The creature shook its head, coming back to reality. It took two light steps backwards before flitting away. It really was a hummingbird.
It was Aelita's turn to shake her head, bringing herself back into focus. Backpack, supplies, home. She picked herself up out of the dirt, and gave herself a hurried dusting before, like the dinosaur, flitting home.

Thank you. I'll start training as soon as I can. But considering how much free time I have right now (haha), that might take some time.
