JBD #695

Postby kavlri » Sat Mar 29, 2014 5:26 am

What is a Jellybean Dragon?

A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Here you go, a bean you guys have been waiting for!
For this one, I want to see the character of the bean through interview.
As in, you RP as if you're interviewing the bean.
You can only add 5 questions, but the length for each is unlimited.
Keep it sensible, though, as I need to read through many forms.
The name, username, and gender part of the interview does not count towards the 5 questions.

This is the example of how you might structure it
Usernamehere: "Please welcome -beanname- who will be our interviewee today. -beanname- how are you feeling right now?"
Beannamehere: -beanname- look at -username- with confident "-insertreplyhere"

You may add one piece of art, but this is optional. It can either be drawn by you, or commissioned.
No extras. You may pretty up your form.

Please only enter if you're committed to winning this bean

Page limit: FIRST POST of page 16
Any blank form post/reserve post/forms posted after the page limit will automatically be disqualified.
You need to fill in at least 3 parts of the form when posting.

Code: Select all
Interview:
Username -
Bean name -
Bean gender -

1-5 interview questions -
Art: Optional

Don't forget to check the archives and nursery archive before putting a name in your form!

End: 23.59 EST on the 3rd of April. No extension
Don't ask me about runners up, I cannot give you an answer until I judge the forms.

DESTINY - Jellybean Dragon #695

Postby yeentei » Sat Mar 29, 2014 5:30 am

Notes: Really formal, if someone explained something, she's normally nod and say 'I see.' Always has a straight face, doesn't normally react to things, happy or sad. // 1-5 interview questions / Art: Optional

CometFox: Hello, my name is CometFox. I'd like to welcome Destiny, who will be our interviewee today!
Destiny: -walks in, and sits down- Good evening.
CometFox: So, Destiny, may I ask you a few questions?
Destiny: Yes, you may. That is what I am here for, correct?
CometFox: -nods- So, lets start on the basics. What's your name?
Destiny: My name is Destiny, It's a pleasure to meet you.
CometFox: Do you know why you were given that name?
Destiny: Well. I was left nameless for the first six or seven years of my life. I was always called 'Dear' by my Mother. I never knew why she didn't give me a name, but I never asked. Anyway. My Mother noticed how much I used the word 'Destiny', and I always used to murmur things about my Destiny. I then asked her, "Mother, what is my name?" My Mother took a while to answer, until she finally breathed out the words, "Your name? It's Destiny, my dear.". That is how I got my name.
CometFox: Interesting! Moving on. What is your gender, and how would you react if someone mistook you for a member of the opposite gender?
Destiny: I am female. If I was mistaken for a Male, I would politely correct them. No big deal.
CometFox: Well, I sure wouldn't like to be labelled as a Male. Now the Basics are over, we can start.
Destiny: Go ahead, ask me some questions.
CometFox: Okay. First question: Tell us about where you live, Destiny.
Destiny: I do not have a house, none of that fancy decoration or anything. I live in a Cliff, beside the Seaside. The cliff is very tall, it looks like it could literally poke a hole in the sky. It's huge. Many people have written things about my home, I'll read you one now. They've written it as if you are there.

      The Start

"Hey, keep it quiet it down- what are you doing?"
"Are you by any chance, Lexi?"
    "Aye, what's it to ya'?"
"I hope you don't mind my intrusion, but I happen to be Mikune,
and I was wondering if I could have a small interview with you."

      The Basics

.

"So let me start with something basic, are you male,
    or female?"
"Oi, kinda personal there, but you seem normal, at least,
    I'm female"

    "You don't sound very feminine."
"Aye, after all, I was born male, but ha, I don't identify with
    them at. all."

    "Point taken."

      The Questions

Hi! I'm Airplane. Today I'm interviewing...?
Oh! Sorry. I'm Striker. Nice to meet you. I'm 16 years old, by the way.
Cool, cool. And you are a... male, right???
...Y-yes. I'm a boy. Hah, I can see how you could mistake me for a Girl, with this bright pink hair and all.
Oh, Sorry! Don't worry, you look pretty manly. And I love your hair! So... what are some of your interests?
Uhm... I love doing parkour, doing mixed martial arts, playing clarinet,
uhm... I love being outside. I love to take scenic walks and stuff like that.
I love dancing too! Not anything professional or competitive. Just for fun.
This is probably going to sound weird, but I also just love night time.
I'm not sure what it is about it. I like taking night walks.

I love the night too! I personally love looking at the stars. What are some of your biggest pet peeves?
Pet peeves? Oh gosh... I have a lot. I hate it when people mistake me
as being 'emo' or 'punk' or whatever. I'm not! I can see why they would think that, though.
Oh my gosh, probably one of my biggest pet peeves is when you say something to the teacher
... or actually, when you say something in crowded place, typically a class, and immediately
everyone freaks out and is all like "WOAAHHH!" and they won't let you explain yourself. I HATE that.

Pfft, I have so many pet peeves I can't even count them. Striker, do you have a dream job or occupation?
If I could choose anything, my dream job would to be a judge on one
of those 'blank's Got Talent" shows. Like, America's Got Talent. One of those
shows. But, if you want something more realistic, I would love to be an EMT.
Just think- You might save someone's life. That's pretty amazing.

Indeed it is, indeed it is! My dream job is to be an animator or storyboard artist for an animated show.
Do you have a favorite food?

Basically anything chocolate. Well, If it doesn't have nuts. I'm allergic to them.
I love bacon, too! ...Chocolate-covered bacon... heh...

CHOCOLATE IS AMAZING. HANDS DOWN. ...Aww, this is our last question!
Anyways, what are your biggest fears?

Escalators, ghosts... creepy pictures. Anything creepy.
Horror films, scary stories, things like that. I'm also really scared of
thunderstorms and tornadoes and hurricanes. And geese... I am literally
scared to death of geese. They're evil.

...Yeah, I agree with all of those. Especially the weather. I guess this concludes my interview!
I hope to see you in the future, Striker!

Bye! I hope to see you soon.

Postby FoxerOwl » Sat Mar 29, 2014 5:34 am

FoxerOwl sits on a plump chair and faces the audience with a big smile. "Hello there everyone, and welcome to the Foxy Show! Today we are here with a lovely female named...," FoxerOwl pauses and seems to have difficulty with the name when a security guard leans over and whispers the pronunciation to her. "Oh, Ah-voon-dahs... please welcome Princess Avundas!"

A short, teenage white and black dragon comes in, pink highlights spiking its hair. "Um.. Fox, I'm male...," a nervous laugh escapes his lips, "and please, call me Avun... ah-vin, if you so please... and please don't label me with "Prince" either... I'm no royalty..." Another laugh escapes Avundas, but somehow more high-pitched than the last. "My name means "envy" in Swedish, as both my parents originated from Sweden... I don't know why they chose this name, I mean it doesn't fit me at all, and I totally understand their names and all...," Avundas continues to ramble, his voice getting higher and his words quicker until FoxerOwl cuts him off.

FoxerOwl looks confused and is about to say something when someone rushes in and says she needs to hurry with the interview, as dinner will be ready soon. The interviewer's eyes widen and she looks like she wants to hurry. Then FoxerOwl turns and says loudly, "Let the interview begin!"

1. FoxerOwl turns towards Avundas with an interested look on her face. "Tell us, Avun, what's it like to be a video game tester? And... I hear you make neon lights as a side job, so you can work at home as well? Tell us what's that like as well."

Avundas appears to not have heard Fox, then abruptly says, "Well... it's not easy... f-finding the bugs is, but fixing them? N-no. It requires time and...," he twitches slightly as he whispers the next word, "m-m-money... something I never seem to have!" Avun cackles loudly in a disturbing manner. The audience shrinks back in alarm but Avun barely notices. "B-but sometimes, to save m-money, you just... render characters different colors! B-but others you have to change th-the whole scene, and that means l-less money in people's paychecks!" He laughs again, in an even more high-pitched voice until FoxerOwl quickly repeats her second question.

"Oh, l-lights? Yes!" Avundas's attitude changes into a more shy one as quick as a flash. "Well... lights are very difficult to make, e-especially

Raven Feather wrote:Alright so now that introductions are over lets get to the basics!

Raven Feather wrote:We know you're a Musician, would you like to tell us a bit about how you came into this profession and what inspired you?

Sidney wrote:Oh, well sure! Let's see...I guess it started with my dad. When I was younger, he was always had an instrument nearby and played some of the most beautiful melodies I'd ever heard. I don't exactly know when I decided it, but the next thing I knew -- I wanted to play music like his. I wanted to play the kind of music that could make people feel so safe and relaxed that they were able to maybe even sleep peacefully for once in our chaotic world. As time went on though, I learned about all the different styles that could be played depending on the instruments used and tempo. The more I learned, the more I practiced and naturally it developed into my career~ Though, I have taken a shine to Singing, Dad's old Spanish Acoustic, and my mom's old instrument.

Raven Feather wrote:How would your fans and/or friends describe you as a person?

Sidney wrote: I can't speak for all of them, but what I hope they see is a fun girl who loves her music and her fans equally. I hope they see a girl who works her tail off to put on a good show and who feels absolutely amazing when it all goes well, but is still slightly affected by any negative rumors started about her. I know I'm a bit on the quiet side off-set, but just because my mouth isn't moving doesn't mean my mind isn't going at 300%! I might have a silent exterior, but inside I'm a whirlwind of sounds and thoughts that just cease to stop!

Raven Feather wrote:A fan has asked "Sidney what is your favorite memory?"

Sidney wrote:Oh, jeez...throwin' me for a loop there...uhm...wow, a hard choice... Okay, got it. My favorite memory has to be from back when I was younger and just learning how to play. Me and Dad had stopped at a lake during one of our many camping trips and he started to strum on his guitar a bit, I joined in and soon we heard another instrument from the other side of the lake -- there'd been a small caravan of traders walking the same path and taking their rest at this lake too! It wasn't long before Dad had a small fire going and about six of us all jamming together with no real purpose. Just the feeling of that night has stayed with me forever and I don't think I'll ever find a more fulfilling place in life.

Raven Feather wrote:What are some of your hopes and fears?

Sidney wrote:Well, I hope to bring people a little closer with my music, along with bring a bit of light into someone's life through it. And if my music is able to inspire someone else to become greater, then that's amazing! That'd be even better than I could have imagined! And I guess my fears...Well, I don't want to be hated by anyone. And I can't stand the thought of being alone, I'm also a bit nervous around those really dark, deserted roads that noone ever seems to walk down. But.. I guess my biggest fear is that one day my music will lose it's soul, it's heartbeat...I'm afraid that one day I won't be able to play anymore. I hope that day never comes...

Raven Feather wrote: And last but not least out of everything you've come across on your travels is there one particular item you have grown attached to?

Sidney wrote:This one's an easy answer -- My mother's Cello. I know, I know - Not something you'd expect a girl like me to play or even express interest in, but...Shortly after I turned 10, my mom passed away, leaving me her Cello. This Cello is my prized possession because it has the most beautiful sound -- As if it's still in mourning over it's previous owner's loss but trying to cheer itself up for it's new player. I play this Cello whenever I'm feeling sad or down, and for some reason it soothes me, and makes me feel better.
