Lilly Chase's POV
Well, this is just wonderful.
What, you might ask, is the point of a freaking lady dropping us off in the future? The answer to that, is... I have no idea.
I'm pretty sure the others don't either, so all I can think about is how screwed we are.
I turn back to the others. "Well." I say flatly. "We're screwed."
There's a bunch of townspeople just staring at us with fury in their eyes. "You four did this. The elements where in your control, and you did this." A little girl says, wandering up to us.
Thalia looks like she's going to object, but I say something first. I kneel down to the little kid. "Look, kid, we have no idea what you're talking about."
Her face scrunched up in anger. "Liars! Just go away before you hurt someone!" She ran away like she was afraid of us, and I can say it hurt me to see someone so afraid of me.
"Guys, we need to figure our what's going on." Hestia said, wavering a bit. We nod.
We begin walking down the street, and a lamp comes flying out of a window at us. I'm able to push Thalia out of the way before it hits her.
"Thanks." She says. I smile. "No problem." I feel like I should make it up to her somehow, since I feel like I'm interfering with her crush on Tallis. Besides, I would've done it anyways.
We continue walking, occasionally dodging a few more things thrown at us. I am beginning to feel horrible, and sit down on a bench.
"What's wrong, Lilly?" Tally asks. Leave it to Tallis to be considerate.
"We've been walking for a half an hour and we haven't come any closer to finding out why where so hated here." I murmur. I can't break down write here, not in front of Tallis. I mean, not in front of the others! -grumble-
"We've just got to keep looking!" Thalia chirps. I nod, and stand.
