Yes, welcome to the wonderful Canada! Where you'll need all the warmth you can get! Canada is a very nice place, you just have to stay clear of the bears, the moose, the wolves, the coyotes, the overly proud Canadians.., and you'll be fine! Just remember to always think of some place warm like Hawaii, because you might most certainly will get cold.
Warning: in winter, you may see Canadians running outside in bathing suits, or trying to pull their tongue off a pole. You may even see a very rare Canadian frozen to the ground! In winter, prepare yourself for the first snowfall. Everyone gets very grumpy when that happens.
Also, prepare yourself for these;; The long winter months when there seems to be no end to the barren cold that engulfs you and you just can't seem to escape. When you look at the thermostat and all you see are numbers below zero. When you go outside and your freezing within 2 minutes and have to go back inside. When you step outside for just a second, and you're already an ice block. When you go outside for half an hour and you get hypothermia. When your kids go tobogganing and drag you along, and they stay outside for half the day, while your standing there, already a frozen igloo. When you see a blade of grass and get very excited. When it's finally weather just above zero, people running around the street wearing T-shirts and shorts. "Get out the T-shirts, kids!", parents will yell.
But other than that, Canada is a very happy, warm place. Most of the time.
