Thalia Moon's POV
"Are you feeling better?" I asked him desperately, hoping that my efforts weren't wasted.
"I'm fine." he told me, sounding puzzled. "I can't feel it anymore. It's like it's gone. Thanks to you, Thalia."
I smiled. "I'm okay. Look at your burn."
Looking even more puzzled, he sat down beside me and looked at his wound. All that could be seen was a faint scar, illuminated by the first rays of the sun.
"Was that you?" he looked astonished.
"I think it was Thalia!" gasped Lilly.
Hestia looked relieved. "You know what the environmentalists are always saying? 'Heal the Earth'? Well, this time, I think the earth healed us."
"Earth does heal life." Tally murmured. "Where do we get all of our medicines? From plants, which are brought to life by Earth. You've got healing power, Thalia."
I said softly "I wish I could do it all the time."
Hestia tipped her head. "What do you mean, Thalie?"
"It's why I'm so tired." I explained quietly. "Healing drains me, I guess."
Tallis looked at me anxiously. "You didn't have to help me."
"Of course I did!" I said indignantly. "We all need you strong and healthy to run from these monster things."
"Yes, she's right, Tally." Lilly decided. "But... what are those monster things?"
I had no idea. But whatever they were, I knew they were bound to show up again.
