18 hours in the lake), hagrid (one of the only people he talks to.
shh, he gives him fish every once
in a while and pets him), the slytherin house,
fishhhhh, getting petted (especially behind his ears),
shiny things.
-dislikes: boats (noisy!), noise (he has sensitive ears),
rocks being thrown at him by first years, seagulls
(dont ask why, he just hates them), sunlight (for some reason,
he is more active on land during the night than during the day),
girl narwolves (he is not interested in getting a mate, ever)
size: a little bigger than an adult fox
family: in greenland, does not want to see them.
sexuality: straight, but not interested in girls (or anyone) that much
personality:
salazar is quite quiet and hates noise and prefers to be alone
so he can think better, he can come off as bitter,
selfish and cold sometimes but deep down
he is a real crybaby and is fond of soft, fluffy things.
magic?: salazar knows a few basic spells,
like levitating things and turning invisible.
(for a very short time, the longest being 20 minutes.)
but, doing too much magic at one time or trying out a very
complicated spell can make him sick.

On june 8th, 1977 a young narwolf named ribbit was born to the proud frogspot family. ribbit was a strange child, learning to walk at a very early age and having most of his teeth at birth. as he got older, his parents were worried about him around other narwolf children. ribbit was a bit of an outcast, preferring to be alone and had many imaginary "friends". because of that, he was bullied by the others and would come home to his parents covered in mud or crying nearly every day. as the bullying got worse, ribbit got colder and colder until one day he snapped.
what the witnesses said, was that after one of the children pinned him down and tried to force feed him a rotten fish, the young narwolf (to the surprise of many) started glowing and slashed the others throat. the terrified children watching the incident fled, telling the adult narwolves that ribbit killed their friend. the adults soon reached the scene of the crime and faced ribbit, who was glowing menacingly and tearing at the other dead narwolf angrily. ribbit was restrained and dragged off (guarded by the dead narwolf's parents) while the others decided his fate.
the narwolves agreed that ribbit was a demon and should be sentenced to death.
the night before his punishment, ribbit ran off, leaving no trace to follow. the others did not bother to go looking for him, a narwolf his own would die in a few days alone in the wilderness.
ribbit wandered for weeks, all alone and refusing to give up.
after what seemed like forever, he finally reached a forest and collapsed.
maybe it was fate or just dumb luck, but the forest he was in happened to be in was the forbidden forest, bordering hogwarts castle.
the day after, he was found by a wandering 5th year slytherin girl who was looking for forbidden forest plants for herbology.
she snuck out to see him every night, soon nursing him back to health and befriending the strange creature. ribbit grew to adore the girl, finding and giving her herbs to help with her studies during her nightly visits and telling her stories. he decided that he would try to leave the past behind, changing his name to salazar in respect for the slytherin house and try to be less bitter. but, a few years after his friend graduated he learned some very heart breaking news. she died, during a dueling "accident".
salazar soon found himself slipping into his old ways again, hiding away from the other wizards he befriended. always mourning the loss of his friend.
he often swims around in the dark lake now, thinking about his life and only seen by students foolish and lucky enough to stay up late enough at night and sneak out to the lake and catch a glimpse.
